I picked up a 2026 from a local dealer last month. Not my preferred option sheet, but the price was right and it avoided waiting "2 to 6 months" for a custom order. It's a convertible, automatic, with the FX Package, Active Exhaust, B&O, and a couple other options. The passenger dash has the California Special badge, despite that package not appearing on the sticker - nor being available in for MY26, that I can find. The only MY26 CS "Mustangs" I can find are Mach-E GT's.

Some search results indicate '26s with the FX package "are" CS's; but there is no other CS branding on the vehicle. Is my Google Fu just totally off, or did I get a dash plaque from the parts bin?

Sounds like the factory messed it up, like when the S650s were new. They were shipping cars with mismatched driver/passenger seats, and mismatched brakes on either side (an Ecoboost got a performance Brembo on one side only).
