Has anyone had any issues with belt slippage with the stage 2 whipple kit? Today I was driving my car and I could feel the power cutting in and out like the supercharger would kick on and off. I reached out to my installer and he thinks the belt may be slipping. He’s ordering me a smaller belt. Anyone else had a similar issue? I’m hoping that’s all this is and not something bigger. I should have spent a little extra and got the 10 rib belt pulley system but I didn’t.

How many lbs is your tensioner at?
I’m at 110, my car only pulls power if TC is on
What size belt/pulley? Should be 3.75” and 82”

6 ribs should be fine for 1000 ish

Sorry I hadn’t replied for awhile. They figured out the issue was a 10amp fuse and Whipple recommended a 15amp because the 10 blew. I’ll try to track down the picture just in case any of you all have similar issue.

You shouldn't be getting any slip on those giant pulleys. 3.750"?

Edit: or be anywhere close to needing a 10-rib

Yeah you’re right. It wasn’t slipping it was a 10amp fuse that blew. Whipple told us to replace it with a 15amp fuse. I’ll try to track down the photo with the exact fuse that blew. Yes it’s a 3.75 pulley
