Just out of interest is there anybody in Australia that doesn't have a recall 24C35 flagged on their car that was built between 10th May and 20th August 2024?

Yes me....... My car came off the production line on May 21 and when I check the Australian Ford Recall page this is what comes up.......

Hi All, thanks to ALL of you for the valuable information and updates you have been sharing. I have been following for a long time, finally registered to express my gratitude and thanks formally.

I am expecting my S650 2024.50 Mustang GT, Race Red colour with Magneride option in Melbourne by 22 Nov 2024 as per the latest VISTA screenshot shared by the Ford dealership. Aboard the TYSLA vessel, great to see it has finally left Perth this morning, a few days behind original schedule.

Mine has been affected by the recall as the VIN entry on the recall check link confirmed it. Hoping the software update is a quick win and doesn't add to delivery delays. Had placed my order back in October 2022, been such a long wait. Exciting times ahead, can't wait.

Do you know the build date of your car by any chance, it is on the Vista screenshot if you still have it?

Hi there, these are the dates from the vista screenshot. I'm guessing 25 June 2024 as date off assembly line is the one you were querying. Does it help?

Mine doesn't flag for recall. My segmentation date was 20 June, off production line 24 June according to vista.

I just double-checked and my updated contract still has the old VIN from last year in it. Using the VIN from Vista my car is flagged for the recall

So it looks at this stage that not all cars are included in the recall within the dates stated. This fits in with the US figures where 6k cars are affected but more than that were produced in the period.

I just rechecked and mine is flagged for recall.

You are probably right on the borderline. Mine is well outside the Aug timeframe - 03Oct Build, and not surprisingly does not flag a problem.

Thanks Stevie, my ETA was supposed to me 22/12 and I was hoping it was on the Tosca until I asked the dealer for an update yesterday. You might want to ask for one yourself.

At this rate I'm not even confident mine will be on the Morning Composer

Finally got confirmation of a boat !

So the Tortugas (hopefully not referencing a Tortoise) should have already embarked on its Luxury Carribean Cruise - Dealer ETA 30/12/24
Note to self: Just the Christmas Present I need!

Any response from your Dealer Deano? Have you asked for an Order Status Update Screen-Shot?

Try emailing or calling your Sales Manager (check their Website for "Our Team" etc), as he has access to the system the Sales Reps are denied.
