The point I was trying to make … it’s a bit crass to be talking about the delays to our Mustang deliveries when they are still dragging the river for those who are still missing. But maybe that’s just me.

Just got an update from my dealer again. Segmentation date is still 02 April, and ETA 8th of August. Still no VIN though. I find it really weird that there is no VIN so close to segmentation. I've really given up on trying to understand Ford system.

Similar story to you, 02 Apr segmentation & 07 Jul ETA (NSW). Also no VIN provided. Previously when it was MY24 I had a VIN 2months ahead of segmentation , so do find it strange not to list one yet. I expect build date will be changing

Good to hear others are in the same boat. Similar, I always thought the VIN was supposed to be issued 4-6 weeks before production.

I'll probably get an update on mine from the dealer tomorrow. Hopefully dates have changed or VIN issued. I'll post an update here when I get any more info.

I still remain optimistic for later this year, but doesn't change the fact, the information flow from FoMoCo > FoA > Dealer network > Customers remains absolutely terrible.

We're spending a fair amount of coin on what is basically a nice-to-have, not a must-have, and just want to know what is going on.

I'd also like to know the real reason for the delays.
Is it an ADR compliance issue, a RHD manufacturing issue at FRAP?
Is our relatively tiny constrained market that insignificant to the center of the Universe?
Just the honest truth.
