I don't get this fascination with comparing Mustangs and Corvettes. It's apples and oranges. And the Dark Horse is a track car not a drag car. What were they expecting exactly?

Is the Corvette a drag car? Beats the Dark Horse around a track as well

Edmunds compares all kinds of stuff, and some of the comaprisons make more sense than others. I don't think this one is too far out of left field personally, but I get that it's not like they're comparing the Mustang to the Camaro (which obviously isn't even possible anymore).

I am sure the Corvette would eat its lunch on a road course track, too, though. The Corvette is not a drag car.

It's a stretched comparison, the Corvette has too many advantages, like mid engine (more weight over the driven wheels), probably better CDa, more torque. The DH did OK and you can carry more crap in it on a road trip.
I won't even mention price difference. You could buy a GT 5.0 and a DH for the base Stingray price here.

Truth be told the only reason to go loaded gt or dark horse is for the 6spd. If auto is what someone is after the corvette is a much better buy. Looks like a super car, quality control is leagues better, interior materials are a huge step up, faster etc.

That, or a back seat. I also think the Coyote sounds better, but that's subjective.

Yup. Edmunds is spamming the U-drags because they own the DH lol. It’s cool to see the car in action, but once again the video tells us nothing other than the one with hat can’t drive and they still haven’t read their comments showing them a better way to race the DH with the 10R80 lol

Essentially put the car into Drag mode, not track, and don’t use the paddle shifters. Find the right launch RPM for the surface you’re on and you’re off.

They keep using track mode, and paddle shifting, and they can never find traction lol

No way you get two for the price of a stingray.
