I mean, if you want to compare Mustang vs BMW, i think the M8 (2 door version) fits that.

These pictures indicate where Ford screwed up on Both S550 and S650 ! The front portion of the car where the beltline is straight and way to tall over the front fender wheel well...I hoped they fixed it on the S650 but well they opted not to spend the money and really made a S550 2.0....

Maybe, but those M8's are awesome. The only problems are affording it and affording to fix it after the warranty runs out

The M4 would be better suited to go up against a Mustang in terms of size and the M2 in terms of price. The M240i (in my opinion), is the best looking BMW right now and has the correct size front and rear overhangs with it's long hood and short deck.

Nice! Probably quicker than the stang. I wish I still had my E39 M5, so I had a manual and a stick. But the divorce took the M5 away

EMW is definitely quicker off the line, but Faux Horse turns heads because it can be heard as it catches up.

Actually the 8 series is quite a bit bigger, a lot heavier and about twice the price!

Heavier and cost, yeah.....size, not really, when referring to the coupe version of the BMW..... 191″ L x 75″ W x 53″ H (BMW) vs. 189-190″ L x 75-76″ W x 55″ H (Mustang). Wasn't really comparing them overall, just the likeness of their side profile (coupe version). I actually prefer the nose and rear of the Mustang better in this case. I do wish we had an all wheel drive option though. However; that may kill the experience.

To be honest the most direct competition is the M2. I have an M2 on order and it is built and waiting to be shipped. I have an S650 on order as well. My local dealer built one for me just in case I change my mind on the BMW. I am going to lease and what is crazy is my M2 leases equal or better than the Mustang. The M2 has an MSRP of $65K but I got it for $63.5K. The pricing wasnot that much different. I just got better pricing with the Mustang.

The electric experience is a completely different experiece. The 0-60 time is blistering at 3.3 seconds. Forget what BMW claims. They run high 11s @ 120mph, pretty much what an 8spd auto M2 runs. I just find electric cars boring. Thats me, if I was going to get an electric car it probably would be the i4 M50 because Teslas are built like shit. If you had any incling about getting a Tesla, than maybe the i4 is for you. If you wanted a manual transmission than you know the answer.

Pretty much what I ordered other than the blue calipers, got the red ones.

The M8 is fast as f….Makes even a GT500 or Hellcat Demon feel like a turtle going 0-60 in 2.5 seconds courtesy to a very potent Bi-turbo V8 and AWD ! Of course it has a price…
