My son details cars and there's a whole process he goes through before even applying the ceramic. It's like a 4-6 hour job for him. Now the car being brand new does cut some off that detailing time, but it should still take a few hours minimum.

These are my sentiments as well. Sure we all want perfection when we pick it up, but within the first few days of driving you are going to pick up all sorts of dings from regular use. It is what it is, and there's no avoiding it unless you want to drive around in bubble wrap.
