Agree. The front end is so much more of an agressive and masculine look. Initially I wasn't thrilled with the new one, but once I started seeing direct comparisons like this my mind changed quickly.

I was cross shopping the same car, except a convertible. Price was six figures... ouch! Love the BMW but $45K more than the Mustang GT Premium convertible I ordered was just more than I could stomach. Also really wanted a stick. Good luck with the BWM, it's a really nice car.

Same thoughts here on the 401A. I plan on keeping this car as long as it will run, especially since this is the final generation of the ICE Mustang. I'm not skimping on anything, even if the $$$ don't really work out on the 401A package.

Never heard of this. I bet that caught your attention first time it happened! That is an odd setup. I would think clutch would automatically turn it off. Appreciate the heads-up.

My GC SRT has the same issue with the heat extractors. Honestly I never worried about it. A little water and soap isn't going to hurt the engine. Same thing happens when it rains.

About how long after ordering is a VIN assigned and tracking become available?

Question on this. I'm currently a Maryland resident but plan to move to Florida in the next 3-5 years. If I buy a policy now, will I still be able to use it when I become a Florida resident later?

Seems like the initial early orders took a long time, but the more recent ones seem to be in the 3-4 month range unless there is a particular part of the order slowing it down like the NP package. I'm hoping for February on mine. We'll see.

I'm no expert on this, but to me that is way too long to be waiting for that car. The PP might have slowed it down some but nothing else about that order should cause those sorts of delays. I am glad to hear you got scheduled. I just ordered mine a few weeks ago. What dealer did you use by...

Why did it take so long to get scheduled? What did you order?

Buying off the lot may work out better to avoid the X-plan. But for ordering I suspect the X-plan is the better way to go. Dealer is going to be less likely to heavily discount a special order car.
