I'd leave them the way they are. The PP wheels match up real nice with that color. They are a darker gray, not that bright nearly white gray of the standard GT Premium wheels.
They make a good point when they say that when everything is black, nothing is black. None of the black accents have any punch to them since they all blend into one overall black vehicle. Something to ponder. In some ways it does take away from the black grill and hood vent.
This is from one of the review videos posted. Carmine red with the matching red belts. Are you saying this is not the standard belt when you order red seats? What are the standard belts if you don't get this option or don't have the performance package?
Agree, I can't believe it wasn't a standard part of the performance package. Then to make matters worse you can't order it as an option UNLESS you have the PP. I don't get it.
What color are the seat belts if you get a black interior? Solid black? Or do they have an accent stripe of some sort? I'm definitely considering going red. Would match those red brembo brake calipers I'm ordering too for the added bonus.
Agree on the grey. It looks nice in pictures, but it's so light. Might clash pretty bad on an all-black Mustang convertible (in my case). That takes me to the black or red, hmmm....
My only hesitancy with ordering it is that if you are going for shadow black you are paying for a black roof, black spoiler, and black mirrors that were black to start with. So essentially I'm paying $1,200 to swap the wheels and badges. I do agree with you that the darkened headlight lenses...
Kind of my thinking too. I'm getting a convertible and having lighter color seats might keep them a little cooler when it's sitting topless. Food for thought.
I was nearly 100% on going with all-black interior from the start. All my cars have had black interiors over the years. They tend to stay cleaner looking.
But I keep watching these reviews and I have to say I'm really coming around to some of the other seat color options, especially the...
I'll continue to monitor this thread for solutions to the miserable rear antenna. Anything would be an improvement over the stock antenna. Something tells me there will be some much better aftermarket options introduced shortly. I'd be happy to trade am/fm reception quality for appearance. Like...
This is very true. My Grand Cherokee SRT automatic transmission was miserable when I first got it. Shifting up, Shifting down, when I didn't want it to. But gradually over time it adapted to my particular driving style and now it's much more enjoyable. But at the end of the day if you want the...
I literally never noticed the antenna before he pointed it out. Now I can't unsee it. Agree on the zonk there. They should have put it in the w/s. Yuck
