  1. What should I do expect to pay? 2024 DHP

Use auto trader or car gurus. On the ford website, they’ll list msrp, but when u call them or go to the dealer website, they could have a massive markup. On auto trader I just put in my filters, sort by price lowest to highest, and go from there Better yet, if you have Costco membership...
  2. roket's Dark Horse - "Azureus" Project

Assume this is all covered under warranty right? Having to pay for all the work you described would throw me for a loop
  3. What should I do expect to pay? 2024 DHP

Definitely recommend shopping around not just in your area, but across the country. I had to get mines shipped to me on the other side of the state because they were offering it for 68k OTD vs the 80k OTD that i would have had to pay where I am. Depending on what you can find, getting it out...
  4. Ford starts legal dispute with YouTuber TJ Hunt over Streethunter S650 Mustang Build

But if that’s the case, then ford should go after all the companies that do copycat spoilers, body kits, etc. they’re all over American muscle. They just did this one in particular because this is a halo car and they want to maintain “exclusivity” for the $300k car. That’s how I see it. If...
  5. Warning Symbol

Means if you don’t hit the brakes or give yourself enough room to hit the brakes, you’re about to become a Mustang stereotype
  6. What type of induction do you prefer?

If you’re not revving it out, you don’t need to upgrade the OPG or the crank sprocket, which tend to fail in high horsepower cars that consistently rev it out. I will say though, when you do boost your car, it’ll be hard to not rev it out or hit the fun pedal. That’s kind of the whole point of...
  7. roket's Dark Horse - "Azureus" Project

Ya if you’re gonna boost it, I would recommend doing it. If you’re getting in installed by a mechanic/dealer, they should be able to do it at the same time as the supercharger install and save a bunch of time and money on your end by not having to do it twice
  8. roket's Dark Horse - "Azureus" Project

I think you asked this on another thread. But you only need to do it if you are gonna do boost. NA cars will not need it as the power with the revving is designed for it. And with boost, if you are revving it out frequently, like a lot of people do (and I suspect you as well if your cat...
  9. What type of induction do you prefer?

benefits are: more power -> more fun. It's not just low end torque, it's an overall upgrade in power. If you’re comparing supercharging vs turbo, then supercharging has the low end torque and no lag. No annoying drone unless ur exhaust set up is straight piped without any resonators or mufflers
  10. Long Tube Headers

this is unrelated, and I'm also not gonna do long tube headers. But from what I've seen, will installing these cause the CEL light to come on even if nothing is wrong with the car? Because no tuning is available, one can't get it to disappear unless they have o2 plugs right? Have seen numerous...
  11. Broken Dark Horse

😭😭😭 If there was ever confirmation needed that this thing is a chatbot and ford themselves would never actually reach out to people in forums
  12. Whipple vs. Procharger

You need the competition air boxes for that whine
  13. ACTIVE EXHAUST QUESTION S650/S550

you can keep the active exhaust functionality with aftermarket exhausts that are designed for it; my personal opinion is i think the stock sound of the s650 v8 is too quiet, so res delete or an active catback system would make it a lot better IMO
  14. Ford CEO Drives a Chinese Not A Ford EV?

Ya i think it's fine to drive other companies' cars, but it is funny to say you prefer it. Basically saying your own product is not up to snuff with other products. On one hand, it is admirable for a CEO to have that humility, but on the other hand, it doesn't instill a lot of confidence in...
  15. ACTIVE EXHAUST QUESTION S650/S550

I'm not sure how this would ever bolt up to an active exhaust mustang. The active exhaust has valves built into the muffler tips themselves that are controlled by an actuator that is attached to the muffler for active exhaust systems. However, the one you have from the s550 doesn't have the...
  16. Ford CEO Drives a Chinese Not A Ford EV?

Even though charging stations are being added at a good rate, I still have found it difficult to get consistent charging when driving EVs as rentals in non California cities. A good percentage of them are broken/in maintenance or being taken by other cars sitting there for hours. The only way...
  17. Cams and Tunes available for Dark Horse Mustang?

Neither are available for this generation of mustang yet, but rumors are that tune will be unlocked soon. Don't think you'll see a set of cams until that happens, so probably sometime late next year or even year after.
  18. roket's Dark Horse - "Azureus" Project

How hard do you drive your car? Melting a cat without a tune or boost would require extreme driving daily with extreme temperatures going in and out of the catalytic converter
  19. My X-pipe to HH-pipe swap experience

It shouldn't. Usually only axle back/muffler change would introduce drone.
  20. roket's Dark Horse - "Azureus" Project

Yes, but still just a pain to go through and if there was a problem with the cats with these cars in general, Ford would be facing a massive recall issue
