  1. FordPass: Remote Features Disabled to Preserve Battery

Well… this post didn’t age well. Didn’t drive at all yesterday. Woke up this morning to clean my wheels and wash my car. Dead as a can be. Picked up a new battery, installed, checked for DTC. No engine light or codes.
  2. FordPass: Remote Features Disabled to Preserve Battery

I got it last night at the same time. After a 200 mile drive an hour before. I think it is an app glitch.
  3. Fuel-It Flex Fuel Kit - Your Experience

Does anyone have experience with this kit. Either S550 or S650 experience? Positive or negative. Both short and long term. I have watched a few videos on installs and it shows to work, but no one comes back and talks about the experience 6 months or a year later. I'm running an E85 tune and...
  4. Two types of kids I don't liek

Can we just have a section on the forum where we all talk like boomers? NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT... GOOD TO SEE SOMEONE ELSE WHO GETS IT!! 👍 I WAS JUST TELLING THE WIFE (SHE’S A SAINT FOR PUTTING UP WITH ME AND MY CAR PARTS IN THE DINING ROOM!!) THAT THIS PLACE NEEDS A CORNER FOR THE...
  5. richers I'm tellin ya

I feel like I just sat through a three episode Netflix documentary on dealership embezzlement. Rating
  6. Almost no love for the Ecoboost

I've driven an ecoboost as rentals when I travel. As of late I have probably rented 10 of them in the past 2 years. Carved up some roads, tested the limits. etc... Pheonix, El Paso, Charlotte, Nashville, etc...I'm not saying they are slugs, just stating factual figures that are published from...
  7. Almost no love for the Ecoboost

I had to look at the graph a couple of times myself to translate what he was writing and what it said. He is basically stating.... 0-70 is 6.4 seconds 0-100 is 14.6 seconds That leaves the difference of 14.6 - 6.4 = 8.2 seconds for 70mph - 100mph.
  8. Getting A Dark Horse to 3700 Pounds?

I have been looking at efficiency over HP lately. Here's a list of areas I have been focusing on in this order. Some don't apply to my build but I listed them anyways. Some of this is extreme if you are using it as a daily. It is more track focused and expensive. I would look at bang for my...
  9. "Check 12-volt battery" message in Fordpass app

Prorated batteries is common but it depends on the manufacturer and the tier inside their brand. I purchase and sell (~5MM annually) East Penn, Exide, Odyssey, Midwest, and a few others and none of these are prorated in my world. That includes traditional flood, high cycle, mixtech, and AGM...
  10. Why does every aftermarket wheel suck on the S650?

Had to summarize your post after reading it a few times. Hope this answers your questions. Which wheel colors and styles best complement Rapid Red. Refined look Silver - Clean look with a bright contrast Gunmetal / Gray - Middle ground between t he silver above and black below Black - Not...
  11. Battery Voltage Question

Yeah. That's a good amount of time. I would say you drained the battery and not the other way around. Use your tender when doing that in the future, because time disappears when you are playing around in Forscan. Forscan itself isn't the battery drain per sey. Think rather all of the...
  12. Catch Cans - Do They Really Do Anything Beneficial?

This is what I caught with mine. NA engine. Its on pace of what a healthy engine should produce and for the UPR system to catch. https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/threads/cleaning-catch-can-filters.168515/post-3381478
  13. Battery Voltage Question

How long did you spend on Forscan? Had the car been sitting for a while before getting on Forscan? I recommend driving it after you charged it back up. Take a 30 minute drive. Short cycles doesn't seem to fully charge this car and battery combo well after an event like this. The method you...
  14. Dark horse boot animation change

Try the right button (on the wheel) and the volume down button (on the wheel) simultaneously. I don't think the combo you did, does anything. If it does, that is news to me.
  15. Catch Cans - Do They Really Do Anything Beneficial?

In a carbonated :cwl: carbureted or IDI engine yes. In a DI engine no. The fuel in a DI engine is sprayed directly into the combustion chamber and does not follow the path of the air (that includes the "oily or dirty air"). This is why the oil separator is key.
  16. Changing oil after storage

This is a great tip for someone storing their car. Not really needed though for a car that gets driven as frequently as every few days. The trade off is stress on the starter. Will add that more than the 8 seconds is frowned on. You can overheat a starter motor quickly after that.
  17. Brand new car: wiper fluid hose was disconnected

I don't think it is related to evaporation. I feel it is more of a leak down situation. The pump losing its prime as fluid goes back towards the reservoir. Could be an crack in the system somewhere or the pump. Mine takes a second or two, then has a slight spurt and then kicks in. Does it...
  18. Passenger side airbox lid

I am pretty sure all of the easter eggs have been mentioned on here at one time or another in a few threads.
