Yeah be very mindful on turning and dips at the same time, as it will hit the fender itself, but if your getting it occasionally on straight line dips. It's most likely hitting the liner and will be ok. Is your rubbing like constant while driving or in certain situations?
When does it rub? And where does it rub? Mine rubs slightly still with the same setup on the progressive springs, but only when the front suspension really compresses. The issue is slowly resolving itself as the Tire if wearing the fender liner and clip affected, flat each time it hits, only...
i actually just solved my center display rattle by rolling a piece of felt tape up a few times and wedging it between the display and dash, out of sight and the noise is gone there. i have an appointment with ford next week for the 2 rattles on both sides that happen with the acceleration, just...
i know you have a lot of miles on your s650, i got mine 4 days before you, and a lot less miles, my question is, do or did you have interior rattles/buzzes? i have had a few and resolved a few, but i have 2 on both side of the interior that mimic each other during acceleration and they drive me...
i was thinking 2, 4 or 5 inch stripes down the center, not to cover too much up. you can find a plethora of pictures of the s550 and s197 blue with white but it isn't my style.
I have been tossing around the idea of getting dual gloss black stripes on my atlas blue GT but i haven't seen any with the combo so im not sure if im sold yet, curious if anyone else has done it yet.
my car makes that same noise on startups and mild/hard acceleration just not as loud, 4,000 miles in and no issues at all, dealership has looked at it as well with no results. I have gotten to the point where i ignore it subconsciously because so far nothing has proven to be wrong with it, i...
Anyone know of a company/brand of wheel well guards for the edge of the wheel well to protect from rock chips and such? i know people retrofit the Mach 1 guards on the s650 but i dont want to do that or pay for oem Darkhorse guards. TIA!
Yes it still makes the noise at nearly 4k miles. But I have had zero issues from the car as far as engine goes, runs true. It essentially doesn't bother me anymore.
The 275s improved if not fully resolved the rub, only when the front suspension is fully compressed does it slightly rub, so in the end 285/35R20s were too big for my setup.
the well-known shop i had install the sensors with my new tire and wheels said they couldn't "wake up" the sensors and that I'd have to have ford do it. When i put the wheels on i took it for a spin, and to my Suprise they all read just above where id like them to, and 2 weeks later, still all...
Do 275/35R20 or 275/30R20. As I know you saw my post earlier this week on how I had rubbing with my 20x10 VF10s with 285s, I just got 2 more front tires size 275/35R20, anything bigger will rub on that setup.
Also here is a picture from the back, as you had asked a few days back.
I'm not worried about where the camber is off at, as it's in the range I'd be accepting. I just think the 285s are the issue. The rub is on the outside of the tire so any more positive on the camber will make it worse. But I fully believe the toe being off on the FL had a big role in the issue...
