  1. S650 Mustang OTA History Thread

10.1.1 is the most recent update that has been released for these cars. This does not mean there is nothing pending an update on a vehicle, but it is the latest one that has been reported by anyone in this community.
  2. OTA 10.1.0 Just dropped.

Yes, ignition being turned on without the engine works, but it would have to be left on for a few minutes to give it time to accept the update and download the files. Wifi is irrelevant. The TCU is what is used to verify the update contents and download the files.
  3. OTA 10.1.0 Just dropped.

The OTA trigger must have already been activated and the update installed during its auto updates scheduled time. Below is what an OTA trigger looks like before it is accepted by a vehicle. Under expiration date, it says server to vehicle 12/12/23. Right under that, it says server date 12/5/23...
  4. OTA 10.1.0 Just dropped.

Just FYI: Auto-updates being on is not enough. When an OTA trigger is created on the server for a vehicle, the vehicle must be started in order for the car to ping the server back and accept the update. An OTA trigger is only good for 7-14 days (depending on the update). If the vehicle does not...
  5. OTA 10.1.0 Just dropped.

This OTA was first reported here at some point last month.
  6. 2024 Mustang CarPlay issues

Don't hold your breathe for the fix. It was first announced an update was coming in Q4 of this year, and Ford just released this a week ago now saying it will be coming in Q1 of 2025.
  7. S650 Mustang OTA History Thread

Same thing would happen to me, but this particular issue (with Android Auto at least) was GREATLY improved with the 10.1.0 update in my truck.
  8. S650 Mustang OTA History Thread

As of this morning in PTS, a new SSM was sent to dealers advising them that the APIM update to address several Sync and phone connectivity issues was pushed back from Q4 of 2024 to Q1 of 2025. Just FYI.
  9. S650 Mustang OTA History Thread

The strategy is in the F188 location. 10.1.0 will it to -EC.
  10. Anyone else have OTA updates lagging behind?

If you have FORScan, reboot the GWM and TCU. If you do not, disconnect the negative battery cable for 20 minutes and that should ne enough to cause both of those modules to reboot.
  11. S650 Mustang OTA History Thread

They do not have to come in any particular order, not these anyway. The 6.x.x ones will usually come in order, but the one you mentioned here can code scattered in between.
  12. S650 Mustang OTA History Thread

Damn....leave some updates for the rest of us. 😂 I added it to the spreadsheet.
  13. Reset BMS

Ignition on/engine off. Flash high beams 5 times, then press brake pedal 3 times. Ensure you battery is fully charged to 100% before you do a BMS reset.
  14. S650 Mustang OTA History Thread

Wifi is irrelevant for updates. They will download via the car's modem even if your car is connected to WiFi.
  15. S650 Mustang OTA History Thread

Spreadsheet updated to reflect new APIM update 10.1.0 (Sync 24-2.1.6).
  16. S650 Mustang OTA History Thread

I'm on PU5T-14G676-EC now. I was sent TCU update 10.1.1 yesterday, but Ford changed their minds and canceled it. lol Edit: Never got a notification on the truck or Fordpass.
  17. S650 Mustang OTA History Thread

Lol The updates can do different things on different platforms even if the name of the update is same. The F150 and Mach E guys are obsessed with updates, so those are good places to go to see what's going on.
  18. S650 Mustang OTA History Thread

Yea, 10.1.0 is going out already to some vehicles. I already have it on my truck, but I installed it with FDRS. It is going out via OTA, though. Auto updates only applies to updates that require the vehicle to be parked while they install. Non inhibit updates will install while the vehicle is...
