Challenger and Charger are on their way back with the Hemi and if the current political climate stays the same I wouldn't be surprised to see the Camaro come back. You have the Supra and the Z that are also competition on the Japanese side of things. You know things are bad for for the Mustang...
2012 was a long time ago and corporate greed has hit an all time high since COVID-19. Tuning numbers aren't moot. Watch the next quarter sales now they we can officially tune the S650. Your trickle down will be an Ecoboost which at that point the Mustang will be absolute trash and a thing of the...
They do that now because the Mustang has stupidly lined themselves up in price with the M series cars. The BMW being tuneable also helped with that transition. You really want to pay Porsche prices for a Mustang GT? Because that's what Ford will start charging if they truly go after Porsche.
Considering they have 90 recalls in the first 6 months of this year alone no I don't think Ford is doing what they've always done. They've lost the war already. Without Multimatic Ford has nothing. Multimatic should be getting all the credit not Ford or Farley.
Well for one thing it's a 400k Mustang. I'd expect that price tag on a halo car like the Ford GT but definitely not a Mustang. I don't care about it's GT3 class suspension as I would never push the car hard enough to justify having it. The interior does not look like a 400k interior either. The...
I don't blame you. Both GM and Ford need to get their act together for the average consumer. These two cars are cool but 90% of the public can't afford either one so they could care less about lap times. Farley also needs to keep Porsche out his mouth. The Mustang will never compare to a Porsche...
They are actually cheaper at least in my area. The RAV4 which is one of the best selling is about 10k cheaper than a GT and 2k cheaper than an Ecoboost. And that's just base models not premiums.
You still have the whole Corvette lineup unless you need back seats. They're all powerful enough to get you pulled over. The Mustangs problem is it doesn't make any torque down low and you've got to spin them high to get them going. That's why I chose the Roush to help the lower end.
668hp and only a couple hundred pounds heavier than a pretty well equiped GT. That 659lb-ft of torque it puts out more than makes up for the weight it carries.
Parts won't be hard to come by especially engine parts. It's still running the Lt4 and there are plenty of parts for those. I'd personally take the Blackwing over the Mustang and that's with me having a Stage 2 Roush blower on my Mustang.
141 in swamp air. Later trapped a 149. That thing is definitely making what's advertised. Come fall/winter that thing is going to hurt a lot of feelings roll racing.
