Not upset. You are welcome to voice your opinion. Simply saying that C8 is widely available and usually no ADM (unless Z06). DH is close in price already without even factoring in ADM. And yes I can by a 1LT Vette lol.
On Ford website: Darkhorse premium handling pack with no other options is 71k. A non optioned M4 is 75k C8 Z51 is 76k. Yes they absolutely are in the same price range. If you think this topic is pointless that's fine. But they all are within 6k in price. And before you say "DH base is blah...
Anyone else cross shopping a DH with a C8 or M4? Or am I the only one thinking the DH is not a bargain performer at it's price point? 78k can get me into a 2024 C8 Z51. Unless you absolutely have to have a manual how are these other 2 not better options?
I don't disagree with you. I'm just saying that Mustang is also competing with M2 now. Darkhorse HP starts at around what the M2 Competition is and a fully optioned DH is in the price range of an M4.
What makes you think the Mach 1 was modified? Because they added fog lamps and painted the stock rims red? If that car had any performance modifications I think the Throtle House guys would have said so. They are too professional not to.
"Modified" by having same tires? Lol. Since that was a 3 year old customers car were those Cup 2s even new?
I'm sorry I just expect that a car costing close to 80k would obliterate the previous model.
I misunderstood what you were asking. Several places have removed the carbon traps but not the air filters. I would never run without an air filter. Removing the carbon traps alone gives around 2-3 hp. On the 22 and 23 it was more like 9-10.
Ford used to recommend 5w20 on coyotes. Every gearhead on the planet knew 5w30 would be better. I've owned 5 Coyote engines and on the ones that had 5w20 I drained it out after purchase and put in 5w30. Never once have I had BBQ or typewriter tick. Have I been lucky? Maybe. But Ford now says...
