What mode? Track. Sport. Other.
are you talking about about downshifts or upshifts?
Cars at Ford Performance School (now Wheelhouse) use track mode & manual/paddle shifters. No problem except one car did have a harsh upshift 4th to 5th at WOT. They sent it to the shop.
I ALWAYS used & preferred OEM (Synch or GM) until I got this wireless connection. Now I prefer Waze too. My other cars still require cable so sticking with Synch.
My DH HP Premium has wireless connection for Apple Play/Waze. No cable to attach. Once you use it, you will love it. I resisted for years. Other cars required a USB attachment. So simple with this wireless set up
If you have the 3 preset memory buttons, you can leave the easy entry/exit off & program another button with the seat further back for easy entry/exit. Then just hit the button to exit & hit your preferred driving position button after you get in.
I just programmed my 2nd button to turn mirrors...
Haha! I get it. But, what you are failing to get is that a spare with reduced air is still better than the flat tire with no air & a chewed up sidewall that wonāt allow it to hold air even if you have a pump.
Put the spare on, add some air, limp home.
What say you now math wizards!š
Automotive Authority spare. I tested it on my DH HP with Brembos. Cleared easily. Also, when you order it, they ask you what youāre putting it on & sell you the correct one that will clear the brakes.
Also check out Automotive Authority for spare tire alone or with scissor jack that will fit in the well with the tire. I bought just the tire & a scissor jack at AutoZone. Wish I had gotten the one with the tire.
Lastly, you will need to protect the pinch welds where the jack contacts the car...
There seems to be a trend with battery problems with these newer cars and in general. My friend builds high end custom show cars & he has had to go through multiple batteries on some builds (defective) & has had to change them out sooner than expected on past builds. And, thatās mostly older...
Tirerack.com shows specs on individual tires in every size. Listed in specs is the rim width needed for each tire. This may help with your decision making.
Also has tire diameter. Try to stay near stock diameter or you may lose your cruise control & pre-collision assist. Been there. Done that.
I still recommend getting the tires shaved. Smoothest ride Iāve ever had. Shouldnāt be too expensive. May solve the problem. Will eliminate the ātire out of roundā issue. Tire could still have an imperfection. Nothing to lose by shaving & may solve the problem.
I think I saw on Tire Rack that shaving was an option when ordering tires. Also, I used to shave my bias ply tires in the 1960s-1970s. Great results. Very smooth ride. If warranty approach doesnāt work, you may want to try it.
I have McGards on all my cars except Black Gorilla splines on my aftermarket DH wheels. Makes me feel better. Iām hoping the hassle will make them decide to move on to you guys without them. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the info. Iāll pass it on to the dealer when I take it in. In the meantime, Iāll try cycling my traction control on & off to see if it makes a difference.
Now, back to your previously posted program.
Wait. Do you mean turn off traction control? I have it on already. It comes on automatically when I start the car.
Sorry to hijack the thread with my issue well documented by my previous whinings. But if something this simple puts an end to my agony, then I have to pursue it. Plus, as noted...
