  1. Dark Horse- What did you Mod today?

Yes. Saw them on FB a week ago. Active presence and community.
  2. How much did you pay for a Dark Horse SC?

@JimiHendrix I think you did great. @108k plus options, you got a fair price. The consumer is always at a slight disadvantage when you're not negotiating on a car that's sitting on the lot. I am very excited for you. 👍👍👍
  3. Software update 4/24/26

Thanks everyone. I'm honestly not stressed about it. I just didn't have any idea about the frequency or what to expect. Also nice to know that customizations are saved unless you do an actual reset. At this point I'm just going to sit back and let things happen naturally. @Sofa King @rugedraw 👍
  4. Software update 4/24/26

Now I'm starting to pay attention to this. I haven't had any updates since I purchased the car in March. I have auto update enabled, any day at 1:00 a.m. The car is connected to my home Wi-Fi. I've tried checking for updates through the Ford app and also directly through the sync 4 system...
  5. Dark Horse Mustang SC Owner's Manual

I got a printed copy in the trunk of my vehicle at delivery. It was with the front license plate mount that I told them not to attach. The copy was from 12/25 which was when my car was built. I suspect there were some changes between then and March '26 when I bought it. I prefer an...
  6. RSA Race Solutions Built 10R80 Transmissions Now Available At Beefcake Racing!

@beefcake , All of the links for the RSA Transmissions are broken on your website. When you click on the more info buttons you get a 404 error. Starting prices look great!
  7. Dark Horse Mustang SC Owner's Manual

    Online version also available. https://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/vdirsnet/OwnerManual/Home/Index?Variantid=10793&languageCode=EN&countryCode=USA&VIN=&userMarket=usa&div=f&buildtype=web
  8.  Will Ford’s “Employee Pricing” discount apply to a 2026 Mustang ordered now?

Greetings, Should be. You should be entitled to any active promotions available when you negotiate and purchase the vehicle. Read the fine print. Make sure it doesn't say that you have to take delivery from current inventory. You shouldn't be penalized for something they don't have in stock...
  9. Integrated front camera option

Adding to the topic. I spoke with TJ at Steeda. He said they don't have a solution for the 2026 at this time. 🫤. Maybe someday. A front camera and *bonus* sensors would really round these cars out.
  10. Oil Catch Cans?

@brucemerc, I just purchased a J&L for the passenger side. I dont think you need both sides. I think the PCV side is enough. There are a few options and going third party is less expensive as @Neggytive mentioned. In the long run I think it's a worthwhile low cost upgrade.
  11. Tow Hook Install

@Jirees98, To remove the cover, put your pry tool in the 3:00 position. Push gently and pop the cover out of place. I used a tiny screwdriver with some blue tape on it to protect the paint. It requires very little force and will come right out. There's a small retention clip located at...
  12. Problems with the radio

I just started messing with this myself. I think he needs to program the station presets so the car doesn't switch between different sources. Whoops I posted without refreshing the page, so yes @DarkkMatter just confirmed it.
  13. Dang it! Knocked my side mirror loose.

Sorry this happened. I'm still getting used to the lines on the back up camera when parallel parking. You've got to remember your mirrors though. If its loose, I'd probably take it to a body shop. Chalk it up as a "note to self" don't do this next time.
  14. What did you do to your S650 Mustang today?? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Unfortunately, it's largely subjective. If a particular shop or tech decides something doesn't comply or constitutes tampering you will fail visual. CARB was allowed to make sweeping regulations that make absolutely no sense. The "we know better" mentality. My parents who are older have...
  15. Emergency brake light, how do you do that?

I've heard of this. I think it's called emergency stop signal. I don't know if Ford implements this across their vehicles. If present, it automatically activates flashing brake lights or hazards temporarily after an ABS braking event. It shuts off when the car starts moving again. Easiest...
  16. What did you do to your S650 Mustang today?? 🙋🏻‍♂️

This is the kind of stuff that I dealt with for a decade with one of my Subarus. No measurable emissions but you can't have that.... Whether it be a BOV (even one that didn't vent to atmosphere) a catch can, a turbo inlet, CAI or downpipe. One day, one shop you pass another day the same shop...
  17. 🚨The S650 Oil Change is a Nightmare 🚨 💡Here’s How I’d Fix It💡

I did see a post from one other user who does his this way as well. As you said the car would have to be jacked up or put up on ramps to get a oil pan underneath It anyway. I'm curious too. 🤔
  18. 🚨The S650 Oil Change is a Nightmare 🚨 💡Here’s How I’d Fix It💡

Maybe it's just me but I have no desire to take off my wheel & well cover to access the filter, unless there's something I'm not aware of? This would be further compounded when I put on mud flaps. I know the undercover is bad enough but that sounds like a lot of extra work. Just weeks away...
  19. What did you do to your S650 Mustang today?? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Oh yes. It doesn't matter if your car is not emitting any measurable hydrocarbons. You will fail visual inspection if you make any modifications to the emission system. This is why I went NA with all the horsepower I wanted. Otherwise you're swapping everything out every two years for a 15...
  20. What did you do to your S650 Mustang today?? 🙋🏻‍♂️

I have years to go but when smog starts I'll have to disconnect it to pass.
