I'm buying in bulk from RockAuto as well. It seems to be the most competitive from a price standpoint. Most of the brick and mortar retailers here, including Amazon sell the semi-synthetic stuff. Our Ford dealers mark up prices on all of their parts because it's the "California Bay Area". I...
I purchased the FL 2127s. I wasn't going to go out of my way to find 500s's unless they fell into my lap. I just bought what RockAuto had in stock. Wix has always been my backup. Their air filters worked really well too
I'm still on the fence with this oil stuff.. I've been using Pennzoil platinum for so long and it's been so good. It meets or exceeds all of the Ford specifications but obviously it doesn't have the little cocktail of Ford additives.
I'm going to buy two cases of the motorcraft today. Only at...
Greetings,
The filterwears fit great. They don't bunch up and they keep the OEM filters cleaner longer. Maintenance is a breeze especially when all you have to do is lift the hood to take a look. I drove a few hundred miles today. I ended up having the hood open when I got to my destination...
Thanks for setting me straight. Flash in the pan then. Sounds like it's right up there with the FX edition with the white nostrils and white wheels... Why would you.... I better duck because there's probably someone here with one who's really proud of theirs. My brother has a c8 with white...
I think it'll be more valuable ... I believe there were only 1,965 60th anniversary Mustangs made, so it would be more rare and has the potential to become more valuable from a collectable standpoint if it's left stock, has low miles, is well maintained and has all service documented.
It's not...
Guys
Love it. This is exactly the type of dialogue I was hoping to inspire. I'm a returning Ford guy, who is just starting to get my feet wet again. So much has changed. Hopefully your dialogue will help somebody else in the future. ie, Adding a aftermarket TPMS, electronic key, etc.
Thanks sir. I had emailed TopFlight this morning asking if they indeed had stock. I saw some reviews from others saying that they placed orders and were then told things were out of stock. I cross-referenced the part numbers. They're identical to the EOS parts.
I'm getting them for looks and protection. They add a little finish to the car's profile. Granted I don't have the HP and super sticky tires, but you do get spray when its wet and rocks can happen almost anywhere.
Agree with you on that.
This is more curiosity. Does anyone know how many key fobs you can program to the car?
Didn't find anything specific on ford.com, or searching here. AI says 4.
Just curious if this is accurate? I would expect it's 4. 🤔
The mobilizer on my Subaru's would accept 4. However, the remote...
Thank you. That's good to know. The EOS flaps are more my taste but the mustangrestyled flaps are also designed very well. I know you feelings about the latter. Design and installation are very good for both.
I'm going to start watching and hope they come back into stock soon.
I heard back from the EOS flaps seller. He confirmed they have been raising the price when they don't have inventory. Seems like this item goes in and out of stock frequently.
He suggested that I add the item to my watch list and I'll be notified when they come back into stock.
Yes. They must be out of stock again (or still) because I just emailed them and asked them to correct the price. 😂 Darn!
Clearly the EOS and Mustangrestyled are the best choices from a fit , looks and installation standpoint. 👍
Thanks @Neco
I'm going to look more closely at this today. Fortunately I have a '26 DHP without start stop. I decided a long time ago that I wouldn't consider a car with this technology. The start feature at a signal for example is not fast enough for me. Not to mention the wear and tear this...
