Look, big brother used to tell me where I was about to go unsolicited. Hop in the car sat morning. Phone âping, headed to the gym?â. Me, conflicted bc I want to defy, but already chugged pre workout âyes, bezos sir, headed to gym â.
Lol yâall are absolutely clowning. One more NA variant, 1-2 FI variants.
They need to make a +650HP car with a manual. Dodge had their hellcat challenger, Chevy has the ZL1 & Blackwing.
Donât forget itâs not just the ability to tune, but the sync 4 system. Ford gets a data upload at night after you cut your cats and tuned it. You try to start the car next morning, youâre locked out. This is speculation and would require legislation but I wouldnât put it past certain states well...
Iâm still bumping you for that 70K M1. You had to check every single windscreen, floor mat, commemorative tattoo available to get that lol
Canât use the GT500 base of 75K argument without being able to order it.
Yeah man I understand you... driving 10/10 and 9/10 is typically a reference to road course ability. You're right, the Gen 3 can take E85 and a tune all day. Gen 4 probably will too once it's cracked....but I personally wouldn't try to be the first guy to do it. I'm not a youtuber.
Congrats? Weird flex. They will eventually be tune-able. Some people also don't care to nix their warranty. I'm sure a good clip of folks here can't drive a 450+ HP car 10/10, or even 9/10. Know I can't. Valid point if you're chasing top HP numbers or 1/4 mile times.
Letâs not forget DH is 130lbs-ish heavier than the GT, based off that spec sheet we initially got. There goes most of your 14HP đ. Iâm still of the camp we will be happy when the DH is dynoâd. Flat 500HP doesnât make much sense all things considered. Even if itâs 500HP flat, I expect the...
I probably shouldâve said âwillâ instead of âcanâ. đ«Ł
Youâre spot on with more displacement being easier than trying to squeeze more out of the 5.0 reliably (and cost effectively). I think theyâre 95% topped out on what they feel like doing with the 5.0 in NA form.
I wouldn't think they can squeeze much more out of the 5.0 NA. Someone earlier made a good point about they've had quite a while to try. They do have the aluminator...but it's a full-blown race engine lol. The next big dog will be a contender to the current GT500, and priced as such.
