  1. Cruisin around with the top down min/max temp

Minimum - so far low 40s (because it has not been colder), but looking forward to colder. Maximum - there is no maximum. I used to live in Phoenix, AZ, and have driven with the top down in 110+ temperatures.
  2. Difficult to lock top.

I have gotten into the habit of pushing the button again after the top stops moving before grabbing the handle and pulling it down. I am guessing the lawyers told the engineers to make it operate that way to keep people from getting their fingers pinched if it closes tightly on the first try.
  3. New Mustang GTD Info from Ford

Damned spell check. Toasty...the phone is nice and toasty. I need to do a better job of proofreading.
  4. Your 2024 vs would be 2025 Price

EcoBoost Premium price with 201A and B&O Sound System is +$2,233. B&O Sound System was part of 201A last year. It is now a separate $995 option.
  5. New Mustang GTD Info from Ford

No phone case for me and the phone usually has less charge after a long trip than when I first put it on the charger. On the plus side, the phone is nice and tasty when I put it in my pocket. Ford electronics in general suck. I don't care for Red Bull F1, but I hope the Ford guys doing the...
  6. Anyone regret getting the convertible?

This is my second EcoBoost Premium convertible. No regrets on either. I drive with the top down all the time. No matter the temperature. I left the house two days ago and there was a light drizzle that stopped within about two miles. I got a lot of weird looks, but I just love the top down...
  7. Back window not always sealing right

I was going to reply with that exact same answer. Mine was a 2018 and a dealer actually replaced the operator for the back window once under warranty. When it happened again I decided to try silicone spray and never had the problem again. Sprayed it once a year and never had to worry about it.
  8. So I got to drive a new 2024 EcoBoost coupe today…

I had a 2018 EcoBoost Premium which I was very happy with. Got rid of it at 99,000+ miles just because I did not want to go over 100,000. (Mental thing, I guess, because I had with no issues with the car.) My 2024 EcoBoost Premium is a better car in many ways, so probably related to the fact...
  9. Front License Plate Bracket recommendations?

I agree. This is the one I got for my EcoBoost Premium Convertible. Installation was simple, and it's a good quality product.
  10. Phone overheated with top down

My experience is with an iPhone 12 Pro with no case. Sometimes the wireless charger is more a phone warmer than a phone charger. Driving for hours at a time it has completely charged the phone and other times driving for several hours it has let the phone discharge, even though the charging icon...
  11. Apple car play bugs.

I have had a few issues intermittently using iPhone with Apple Maps. I have also had occasional issues with the guidelines for the back-up camera not showing up. I believe the issue is not iPhone or Car Play, but rather Sync 4.
  12. New Experiences "Unleashed Events" are Coming for 2024 Mustang Owners

I was there as well. First did the ride along with Morgan driving. As I was watching the different drivers during the day, she was by far making the most smoke. She did a great job. She is very personable and has a great sense of humor. Later I did a ride along with Ben Hobson as well. That was...
  13. "Mustang Unleashed" national demo tour announced to celebrate Mustang's 60th Birthday. Registration now open

Have fun...and be safe. I am doing the Mustang Immersion at Charlotte in October.
  14. 1/4 mile time with top up vs top down ?

Top down and over 90 a few times for several miles and no shake at all.
  15. 60th Anniversary OTA Update (6.3.2) Released - Classic Gauge Digital Cluster Theme

I have used only Macs since 1984. 6.3.2 showed up Saturday morning according to FordPass. I will check it out tomorrow.
  16. Explain the 1,000 mi oil change to me

Not aware that I asked. As I said, I was just pointing out the lack of information provided in the manual.
  17. Explain the 1,000 mi oil change to me

I understand why new tires need to be scrubbed in. The manual gives no clue on how to accomplish that. I don't need any input from the manual on how to achieve that, I was just pointing out the lack of information provided in the manual.
  18. Explain the 1,000 mi oil change to me

Can you tell me what page you are finding break in information in the owner's manual. The only thing I can find is related to tires, and that just says to break in the tires for 300 miles without explaining what that means. I sent a text top the Ford "advisor" and the response I got was "you...
