Maybe that's part of it? I didn't care for the Vette being an auto. It did all the same auto stuff that all modern automatics tend to do... don't downshift far enough on WOT, hesitate when I manually hit the paddles, etc. I do prefer my stick. Maybe I would've kept it if it was a stick.
