  1. Selling my 2025 DH and the market is in the tank

It’s from the BBB that passed over the summer. New. Personal use. final Assembly in America. You can deduct up to $10k in paid interest. Income under $100k ind. or $200k married filing jointly. ultimately it comes down to your top tax braket. I’m in the 22% range so it’ll save me about $600...
  2. Selling my 2025 DH and the market is in the tank

So what did your losses work out to then? I am looking to buy a new house this year as well, but my intention is to just pay off the GT if I am carrying too much debt to get approved. With current interest rates and the tax deduction on new car interest, I figured it was worth taking the...
  3. Selling my 2025 DH and the market is in the tank

Absolutely true. And why you should never buy a new car anywhere remotely close to sticker price. i bought mine after 9 months on the lot a solid $8k off sticker. Makes the day one depreciation a lot less painful. As for the initial post, anyone trying to sell their car after 1-2 years should...
  4. Who’s giving up the 6sp for the SC?

If speed were everything, I’d have just kept my model 3 performance. It isn’t always about speed.
  5. Who’s giving up the 6sp for the SC?

It isn’t a markup and over 75% come with the auto. It’s fair to consider the manual as purely optional even if the box is checked by default.
  6. Who’s giving up the 6sp for the SC?

I got the impression when he said base GT he was talking about one with the A10.
  7. Who’s giving up the 6sp for the SC?

It’s something like 40 times as likely for a gas car, 90 times for a hybrid, and 140 times more likely for a plugin hybrid. liquid fuel systems are hard and hybrids massively complicate an already complex system.
  8. Who’s giving up the 6sp for the SC?

Can’t speak for your experience, but yeah. 6 months in and I’ve been nothing but happy with it.
  9. Who’s giving up the 6sp for the SC?

I went from a 14 GT with the 6speed to a GTI with a DSG. That was a monster upgrade and glorious. But the manual in the 24+ GT is worlds better than what was in the 14. While i loved the change to the DSG before, I have zero desire this time to change to an automatic. The current 6 speed is...
  10. Odd things I have noticed

I get heat from my GT in about a minute when the temp is 20 f out. It seems perfectly adequate to me. The fastest non-EV for heat I’ve driven was my GTI. It had a liquid cooled exhaust manifold and it was maybe 30 seconds before it started blowing the heat At 20f. It was glorious.
  11. S650 Dark Horse – Stock Exhaust Pops/Backfire & Noticeably Louder After Break-In?

My GT/CS got noticeably louder past the 1000 mile break in. But that’s because we’re driving them significantly harder after the break In period. That means the engine is running hotter which also makes for louder pops on deceleration. Hell, mine will even backfire in quiet mode. your experience...
  12. Bill Ford on preserving the Mustang into future generations

The take rate on the Manual is already south of 25% and thats only on the GT. The actual market for a manual Mustang is tiny. It would seem the vast majority of people just don’t care about having that level of control over their cars. :-/
  13. USB near instrument panel drawing power when vehicle is OFF?

Are you in the north? It’s been crazy cold the last week or so and that could be causing the low battery warning.
  14. Stock B&O sub to Kicker subwoofer 48CWRT104

Not if you have the GT. I’ve been chasing rattles too, but from the active exhaust. Though it’s only an issue with the exhaust in track mode.

lol. My kids love the back seat. part of the reason I went with the convertible is that it has better headroom even when the top is up. Of course I had the top down basically every day for the entire summer, but I use my back seat basically every single day.

I was cross shopping an M2 when I bought my Mustang. If they’d had it priced at the current sticker price, I’d have just gone for the M2. I got mine at $53k or it would have been wildly overpriced for what it is.

Ah that makes sense. Never had a good experience with any GM vehicle myself.
  18. Missing 2026 content

My home link buttons in the visor literally work from 4 houses away before I’ve even turned onto my street. Perhaps there is just a ton of interference where you live.
  19. Stock B&O sub to Kicker subwoofer 48CWRT104

I went with the pioneer for two reasons. It required zero modification of the stock enclosure, and its virtually invisible as a modification. It was a very simple upgrade. I wouldn’t want a larger subwoofer sticking out into my trunk or reducing its already limited space.

Lets see. The garage door opener I use every single day multiple times. Its great. The Illuminated door sill plates are really cool. I especially love that you can change the color. The phone charger pad is literal garbage. It basically just cooks my phone and barely charges it. I like the...
