  1. FORD Australia leases entire ship

Not Mustang, but interesting all the same. Great to see Ford AU being proactive with addressing logistics issues. Unlikely to see this with our Mustangs as they are "batched" and not in continuous supply like the Ranger and Everest. Source...
  2. UAW to vote on strike authorization next week

SALARIED FORD WORKERS MAY DO UAW JOBS IF UNION STRIKES https://fordauthority.com/2023/08/salaried-ford-workers-may-do-uaw-jobs-if-union-strikes/
  3. 2024 Mustang Australia (AU) Pricing and Timing Schedule

It would be in the dealers interest to lock you in. If you look at the AUD/USD futures, the rate is expected to improve slightly (in our favour) to 0.68 by June 24. FoA/dealers are better off by ~2% come March. Remind me to insist on a free set of genuine mats then!
  4. UAW to vote on strike authorization next week

FYI... Published in the last few hours. One more thing that will [potentially] delay manufacture and deliveries. https://apnews.com/article/auto-workers-strike-vote-contract-talks-stellantis-ford-gm-a9ed886880d2549b230e4de97452371c...
  5. 2024 Mustang Owner's Manual Released

Yes, that caught my eye as well. And why does the language change? Elsewhere in the manual things are "If Fitted".
  6. Collapsible spare - We're waiting Ford

I haven't seen these before, and what a brilliant idea! Would love to see an OEM or aftermarket solution that suits the Mustang bolt pattern AND accommodates the Brembos. How A Collapsible Spare Tire Works, And How It Might Save The Spare Tire In EVs
  7. 2024 Mustang Owner's Manual Released

Also curious about this. The [incompatible] catch can referenced above requires hands-on emptying, as you would expect. How does "self-draining" work with the new can??? It simply reaches a level and then drips out through the engine bay onto your garage floor or driveway?
  8. 2024 Mustang Australia (AU) Pricing and Timing Schedule

Correlates with the MY24 have a longer run than 12 months, and 18 months rings a bell with what Ford was saying late last year.
  9. Just watched this YouTube video. He canceled his 2024, this 9 min video tells why

The first 60 seconds reminded me why I unsubscribed and stopped watching this channel months ago. Perhaps he should start with a Yo Yo Yo. No wait. That doesn't work either.
  10. The Dash cam thread

Other brands than Viofo seem to have better parking modes, but it depends on your requirements. If you daily it, parking modes become more important. If it's a second fun car being garaged mostly (as mine will be), I'm concentrating on image quality. I'm eagerly awaiting the Viofo A229 Pro...
  11. 2024 Mustang Australia (AU) Pricing and Timing Schedule

    Sounds like Victoria!
  12. Awaiting that awesome email

Hey wow! Yet another thread discussing the same thing as the 20 others. When did you order? What did you order? What's your status? What did your dealer tell you? Go you good thing.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
  13. 2024 Mustang Australia (AU) Pricing and Timing Schedule

I would ignore what is going on in Europe, it's a bureaucratic basket case. Have our vehicle emissions laws changed here recently?
  14. The official unofficial meme thread

This has been on the Ford AU website since 2021. We're already pre-conditioned for the long waits! :computerrage:
  15. 2024 Mustang Australia (AU) Pricing and Timing Schedule

One of my local dealers got 7, another got 9.
  16. 2024 Mustang Australia (AU) Pricing and Timing Schedule

@Stevefreestyle Just to provide some context, how many GTs landed in Australia during, say, 2020, 2021 and 2022? (Let's ignore R-Specs, Mach 1, and the MY23 because of the limited runs) Anyone have that 20 - 22 breakdown as a comparison?
