  1. Software Update Mechanism?

As I haven’t received my GT, can you provide some details?
  2. Extended Warranties?

I am assuming my Ford dealer here in FL, can sell me the same ESP that Granger sells. However, I'm assuming the Ford dealers can charge whatever they want and that Granger is selling at $50.00 over cost - Correct?
  3. Extended Warranties?

Thanks. One important point I think I have picked up and that is I can purchase a Ford ESP anytime prior to the expiration of the factory warranty - correct?
  4. Extended Warranties?

So, you went with Ford's ESP. Did you do any competitive research? If so, what did you find?
  5. Extended Warranties?

Given all the electronics in new cars these days, I am considering an extended warranty. I know Ford offers one. To be prepared with a competitive policy, I checked with Endurance on their "Supreme" policy - $100.00 deductible, 8 years (actually 5 after the standard warranty) or 101K miles...
  6. GT Performance Package?

Mine hasn't even been scheduled yet!
  7. Recommended Octane Rating & Why

Glad to hear 21 around town. That's close to what I get with my current WRX. Based on feedback, 93 Octane has been decided.
  8. Software Update Mechanism?

Thanks for the very detailed response!!
  9. GT Performance Package?

Have you received a Schedule Build Date?
  10. GT Performance Package?

There seems to be an availability or configuration problem with the DH performance package. Is there the same issue with the GT performance package?
  11. Software Update Mechanism?

So, I am, assuming you can provide the SSID and password of your router to the Mustang. I am also assuming that any update will occur without the vehicle being started (in the garage, engine not running).
  12. Software Update Mechanism?

I understand the S650 has the capability to do "over the air" software updates. I am assuming it would either be Wi-Fi as in your home wireless Internet or Wi-Fi/Bluetooth over your smartphone and using cellular data. Am I missing something here? Cellular data could get expensive if you have...
  13. Recommended Octane Rating & Why

    Wow! I remember those pumps!
  14. Recommended Octane Rating & Why

OK. I just joined. We'll see how it works. Sad thing is that if I was to pay cash instead of using my card, I'd save more money - even at the Platinum level.
  15. Recommended Octane Rating & Why

How do you redeem your "Cash Rewards"?
  16. Recommended Octane Rating & Why

OK. I looked into a Shell Fuel Rewards card. Very confusing tier levels. If I only fill-up every 2-3 weeks, I'm not sure the card is worth it.
  17. Recommended Octane Rating & Why

I use nothing but Shell currently. Perhaps it's time I get their credit card and save a dime a gallon.
  18. Recommended Octane Rating & Why

Thanks for the info. My WRX (turbo) requires 93 and the extra 30 cents per gallon over regular hits the wallet pretty hard. That said, I get around 22 mpg in town. The Pony will get a lot less. Fortunately, I am retired and drive less than 5,000 miles per year.
  19. Recommended Octane Rating & Why

I have ordered a 2024 GT Premium, 6-Speed Manual, GT Premium High, GT Performance Pkg, Active Valve Exhaust, & Magnaride Damping. Ford recommends Regular gas (87 Octane rating). What is the general consensus on this? Regular, mid-grade, Super?
