I received some great news from Ford yesterday in the form of an email.
"Your Ford Mustang is waiting. Come get it.
Now's the fun part. Owning one.
Now that you know the ins and outs of the all-new 2024 Ford Mustang, how about putting one in your driveway?"
Thank you, Ford. I've been trying...
No, I didn't get the VIN or order code. I trust my salesperson. I've been buying cars from him for years. I know I'm going to have to wait for it just like everyone else.
Spoke to my salesperson this morning. According to his information, my car was built yesterday. He cautioned me not to get too excited because Ford is apparently building cars without certain options, which may account for the large number of cars sitting on storage lots. It would really be nice...
I haven't received any information directly from Ford on my order, which was placed on 3/27. No confirmation email, VIN or anything else. I'm just going by what my salesperson is telling me. I guess I'll just wait and see what happens.
My car was scheduled to be built yesterday (8/7) , so I guess I'm out of luck. On a brighter note, I received an email from Ford this morning titled "Let's get you a Ford Mustang." Little do they know I already have one, they just haven't built it yet. 😂
I placed my order on 3/27. No verification from Ford in the form of an email or any other type of correspondence. My salesperson told me my car is scheduled to be built tomorrow (8/7), but I'm not holding my breath.
I received an email from Ford yesterday telling me it was time to build my Ford Mustang on their configurator. Apparently they don't know I built my car over 5 months ago and ordered it over 4 months ago. 😏
I'm no expert, but I would think the GT and DH would be fairly evenly matched in a straight line. If you're getting the AVE on the GT, there's really only a 14 hp difference.
