  1. Dark Horse WRECKED in transit!!!!

Sorry that you have to deal with it. It sucks. Hope you find a C8. :like:
  2. OEM Brake Pads gotta go, where the Ceramic’s at?

I ran PowerStop on my last 2 Z06's and never had a problem with them for street use. Might be a different story if you track your car. They eliminated brake dust by about 90%.
  3. Dark Horse WRECKED in transit!!!!

Personally, there's something wrong with waiting so long for a car and then finding out it was damaged in transit. I'd refuse it and find something else.
  4. Anyone with the PP switch to ceramic brake pads yet?

Good question. I haven't seen anything on new pads. My car is in storage, so I have a few months to make a decision. I'll probably go with PowerStop. I've had good luck with them in the past.
  5. Rolled off the transporter at 12:02 am

Glad you finally got it. May it bring you many smiles of driving pleasure. :like: Enjoy!
  6. Exhaust Pop

Mine does the same thing. Love it! Sometimes it tends to frighten women, children, and small critters.
  7. Brake caliper finish issue

I'm guessing the calipers are painted, which doesn't hold up nearly as well as powder coating. I've had calipers powder coated on several of my cars. I think the finish looks much nicer and it's much more durable. The downside is that if you do it yourself, your car is going to be down for...

  9. 0-60 timer off?

The 0-60 mph time on my 2019 Corvette Z06 was around 3 seconds, so I'd say your timer is off.

  12. 2024 Mustang GT Premium - Wouldn't Start

That's the big question. I don't worry about it so much driving locally, but what if it occurs again when I'm traveling? I had planned on taking mine on a trip shortly after it was repaired, but was concerned about it happening again 200 miles from home. My car has been running fine since it was...
  13. 2024 Mustang GT Premium - Wouldn't Start

Mine has only happened once . . . so far.
  14. Is my GT engine missing a strut bar?

The brace makes checking the oil a pain in the butt.
  15. 2024 Mustang GT Premium - Wouldn't Start

Sorry to hear about your problem. I know it's frustrating. Sounds exactly like my car. Mine wouldn't start and threw every warning light you can imagine. Eventually got it started, but it died when I put it in gear. After several attempts, I finally got it started and was able to keep it...
  16. Almost no love for the Ecoboost

I couldn't agree more. We all have our likes and dislikes. To assume (you know the old saying) something about someone because of the kind of car they drive seems rather superficial to me. The kind of car you drive doesn't make you any better or less or than someone else. I've found over the...
  17. Automatic Trans Shift Knob Change

Just do what you want and forget about the other comments. :like: It's your car.
  18. Wash Media: Mitts, Sponges & Pads

Yes, detailing has come a very long way. I remember washing my brand new '69 Plymouth Roadrunner with Joy dish washing soap. 😳 Now I have microfiber wash mitts, over 100 microfiber towels of varying quality, an orbital buffer, polishes, etc., etc.
  19. OEM Brake Pads gotta go, where the Ceramic’s at?

Yes, the OEM pads are terrible. The amount of dust they create is unbelievable. Probably going with PowerStop ceramic pads in the spring. (If they come out with them.) If not, I'll find some other brand. Had them on both of my Z06's. I hate dirty wheels.
