Ok I get it. This is new to me I never trusted oil life monitors in previous vehicles thought they were just mostly timers. So the vehicles computers have the ability to decifer driving habits. Then weither or not your sharing data then Ford could retrieve those from the vehicle if it went in...
The oil life service reminder feature is designed to provide vehicle owners a better understanding of when your vehicle will require an oil change. The Intelligent Oil Life Monitor calculates a percentage of oil life remaining (from 100% to 0%) and takes into account items such as engine...
Unbelievable, how are they even in business! Self-inflicted wounds are one thing, saying it would have happened anyway? No small amount of damage is acceptable when there wasn't any damage on the vehicle when it was brought in. I HOPE someone at Ford addresses this. This infuriates me I work in...
Smh, I would be livid. Your not being picky. Not to mention why did they park so close to the drivers door next to that Explorer? Glad you took some pics.
It's for transport the dealer is supposed to remove them. Also supposed to attach the strakes on pp and dh. Just something to check when you pick up your Mustang.
Luckily we have forum like this we can throw shit against the wall. Maybe the tech stuff will be in someone's wheelhouse. Other than that on the mechanical end, it's best to learn how to turn some wrenches and be safe.
First off I am happy with my purchase. I have been working at dealerships for many years. They used to have atleast 1 or 2 techs just doing PDI full time depending on the size of the dealership and or location. Reading all the post with the strakes not on or suspension blocks still in the...
Get used to it, the new techs could care less about these types of cars. The sales and service departments are clueless for the most part unless you personally know a senior tech. I'm sure some dealers are ok, but it's rare these days.
Well, the dealerships are getting worse unfortunately. I work in the autobody industry, we are trying to find competent techs! The struggle is real. Can't imagine when they try to fix EVs. We wont even touch them not worth the hassle.
I did my second oil change at 3426 sent it out to Blackstone see what they say. I'll post it for shits and giggles. For me an oil change 112.90 with Penzoil ultra platinum and a motorcraft filter. Pretty cheap for peace of mind. Had a 2001 Silverado with 5.3 changed it every 3000 miles ran like...
