In response to the EPA restrictions of the 70s, both GM and Ford downsized certain models and released small cars with 4 cylinder engines like the Vega and Pinto. However, GM continued with the 2nd generation Camaro throughout the 70s while Ford downsized the Mustang to a glorified economy car.

You ordered a performance pack car, right? I think someone here posted that Ford won't build cars that come with summer performance tires during the time when temperatures are coldest. Edit: this is true only for Dark Horse handling package cars, not GT performance pack cars.

No, these had the MT82.

The Mach 1 was more than a rebadge. It had the Tremec transmission and additional coolers for track use. It also had a handling package with wider wheels and tires, etc. that wasn't available on the Bullitt.

Any catback system deletes the stock resonator. Everything behind the cats is replaced, including the resonator and the mufflers.

I live in DFW but I'm not sure about North TX because I ordered from Granger Ford in Iowa. It only took 2 weeks to ship to Granger from the factory.

Code orange is my favorite orange from Ford. It's cool that it was only offered in the GT500. Can't go wrong with grabber blue, though.
