And the starting price went from 135k last time I looked to 148k before options. A good car, a strong brand, and customers lined up. Not a bad position to be in.
Not justifying the price, but for perspective on the value for the money (and fun) I did a full out build on the SC vs a reasonable build on a Carrera T. Almost 800HP auto, track ready vs rear engine, manual <400HP. Roughly the same price.
I cross shopped the 911 before I bought mine. Loved it...
I did the Road Course option last week. Wheelhouse Racing (Ford contracts them to run the experience at the Charlotte Motor Speedway) did a great job. All the instructors were top notch.
AM was rallycross and evasive maneuver exercises. PM was track time on the CMS road course. It was very cool...
Love it! Cruising top down on the BRP and driving the curves up to it is basically what I got the car for. I'll be up your way in a few weeks chasing down some VA wine.
I agree they will sell because they are a unique package. I don't think they will hold or build value like some the competition at this price point. They are into base 911 territory and encroaching on bottom end new Aston Martins, but the interiors do not stand up. Maybe Ford needs a Lincoln...
Beautiful day for a topless ride!
I set Waze to avoid freeways and had a great backroads drive to a remote Winery.
Unfortunately, you can tell it’s pollen season so wash day tomorrow.
To anyone that has done Mustang Unleashed in Concord, is there a place for guests to hang out or watch some of the activities? I am doing it in April and my wife wants to go and hang out.
I had a similar experience with dates moving up. Ultimately I got it several weeks earlier than the dealer's estimate. Other order threads talk about moving dates as well, although I'd say most get moved out.
Congrats on the order! You are going to love it.
My 2¢ on ownership- Having experienced both BMW and Ford service in multiple states, BMW has been at a consistent high level- no matter if it is a 25yo beater or a new car. Ford has not been as consistent, but there really are excellent dealers out there. I have a good one currently and I get...
Got it. Most of my current towing is utility trailers and doesn’t get close to the limits where I need LT tires. So sounds like different use case.
I will say I had a ‘15 Denali that probably could have used the upgrades.
I have 2 garage queens currently. They live on Ctek battery tenders. Vouching for the warm them fully comment- I only start them when I can actually drive them enough to get them to temp. Fairly easy to do in my climate. I try to not let them sit for more than 3 weeks, an admittedly arbitrary...
