I don’t care for stripes either. It could be my knee-jerk reaction to Shelby actually executing on something modern snd not a poorly done retro thing. But I think they nailed the front end, the badging, and the rockers. The spoiler, the two old looking dampers attached to the splitter, the...
That looks…
AMAZING!!!
Shelby in the past has usually crapped the bed Amber Heard style.
but they e nailed this design. Incredible. Best looking s650 so far.
Must have either hired new designers or the old designers finally modernized their style.
the only thing that doesn’t fit are the two...
Grille is nasty.
Everything else, surprisingly, is great!
badges look great, interior treatment looks nice, and the classic fisher option is s great touch!
if I were looking for a GT I’d buy this. Then I’d replace the grille. Lol.
not only is the “styling” atrocious on the m2, but the whole visual quality of it is off. The top half of the car looks like a cheap, entry level bmw and the bottom half looks like either the bottom portion of a boat or a Jegs body kit meant for a Fiero or something.
it’s like the hired a fresh...
yes. I meant 2016. And yes a mustang is still better than no Camaro.
just embarrassed how Ford has added weight and done nothing to make the mustang perform better.
this has got to be the slowest 500 hp car in the world.
How is it that a 500 hp mustang in 2024 is slower than a 455 hp Camaro in 2026?
Don’t try to excuse it because it’s a track car. The ss1le isn’t slower than an SS.
that’s really bad. C’mon Ford. Give your fans cars to be proud of across the board.
That program is awesome. Bought a 22 BMW amd waited forever while it was built in Bremerhaven. didn’t hear about that so it must be discontinued, otherwise would have done it!
hence the many history lessons given in this thread.
just because the Camaro stopped being sold like…yesterday doesn’t mean it’s price isn’t relevant in this discussion.
and just because the Camaro isn’t around anymore doesn’t mean we can just pretend it’s ok for Ford to charge too much...
overpricing performance Mustangs is part of the problem. Thanks for making the point.
It’s reminiscent of the 90s where someone had to pay a lot more money to buy a mustang cobra that wasn’t even as fast as a much more affordable Camaro z28. Not a good look for Ford.
yet you still advocated...
you aren’t granting opportunities around here.
and I pointed to my post because I laid out my thoughts there.
anyone can post up their dream scenario, followed by the whiners claiming it would be too expensive (yet not an issue for GM), too impossible, or some other excuse to be a Luddite...
LOL
Exactly why I gave the vette example earlier. No wonder it bothered you so much.
and it’s not that I don’t THINK the s650 isn’t an all new car, it ACTUALLY FACTUALLY ISNT an all new car. That was a lie.
LOL
That would make sense if we are talking about some downturn in 2020 or 2021. But it’s 2024. And even pamdemic salrs were better.
The s550 Mustangs launch sales were strong. Healthy. But they waned as per usual in the twilight years.
yet even the post-pandemic twilight sales were stronger...
