I haven't seen any dyno numbers on the S650 to back that up. But it's possible. There were dynos on the S550s that showed small gains without the trap, but there was a lot of variance IIRC. Bottom line is you won't feel a 10 HP difference from the drivers seat anyway.
Just because you have 3.55s doesn't mean you're spinning the tires lol. I've driven a GT in both gears and difference is noticeable. 3.55s are much snapier off the line. There's a reason they come on PP and DH cars.
I didn't either. And unfortunately this site doesn't show the country of origin next to your avatar. Seems like we have A LOT of foreign members here. 😎
I'm not saying it's not true, but Motor City is an independent source of news and information about Ford products, and is not owned by or affiliated by Ford.
It could be they simply got the numbers wrong, or perhaps they are basing those numbers on the type of fuel or emissions calibration like...
Thats a little extreme. plus buy backs dont work like that. From the sound of it, the dealer did figure out the simple electrical issue (not issues), and their fix just didn't hold up. Sounds to me like they need to replace that wiring instead of just playing with the connectors. I'm sure it...
Thanks for explaining that. I've been trying to read the Forscan thread and honestly my eyes start to glaze over. It's hard to keep up for the lay person with zero knowledge. I just want to activate the gear indicator.
I had zero issues with this one.

You also mentioned problems with wireless connectivity. Maybe your phone setting need to be updated. 🤷♂️
Low 40s is doable on a 2024. Lots of new '24s are getting reduced on dealer lots right now.
It's going to be high 40s if you want a 2025.
The blue colors seem to be very popular. Atlas is 2024 only. Good luck!
Well this thread definitely took a weird turn. 🤣
Back to the original post...it is funny how most older folks assume younger people can't drive a manual. While I agree it's a dying skill, you'd be surprised how many people in their 20s and 30s prefer manual cars. Especially the import enthusiasts.
You are definitely swimming upstream trying to figure this out sir. If you're going to all the trouble to play with fuses, why not use forscan and disable the function from the computer like multiple people have suggested.
If you dont want to use forscan, then take it to the dealer and simply...
