Actually all '64 1/2s were not titled as '65s. Most were, but there is documentation that shows some were titled as '64s. There was also a lot of Ford marketing referring to them as 64 1/2s . They were however all vin stamped as '65s.
Not arguing with you, just sharing a fun fact. We can go...
Well, the 2015s were badged 50th anniversary, and the 2025s are badged 60th anniversary.
EDIT:
weirdly the 2004s were badged 40th. So Ford hasn't been very consistent.
I used to absolutely hate Pirellis. I always found them very noisy, crappy in the rain and had short tread life.
But the new P zero versions are actually very highly rated. Even better than the factory Continental pro contacts. 🤷♂️🤞🏻
I assuming you're tracking your car? Oil life goes down fast when you are doing hot laps. Same with the rear diff.
Otherwise, that is a really aggressive and arguably wasteful maintenance schedule.
40 sidewalls are always going to have a more forgiving ride than 35s. Generally Continentals are great tires. But the all season version that the factory uses on these car are just OK in terms of traction and wear. I personally think they ride nice and are reasonably quiet. But you could bo...
Those 20s are nice for sure. When I bought my car, I test drove a premium that had them. To my butt dyno they seemed slightly harsher than the 19" contis. But not everyone cares about these things.
Because Ford owns Motorcraft and its cheaper to use and makes them more money. Keep in mind 80% of dealer profits come from service.
That said, I think Ford does offer a full synthetic upgrade, but it's really pricey.
Most full synthetic oil changes outside the dealer will run you $100-$120. 👍🏻
I came here expecting to be entertained by the comments. But im really sorry about your hearing issue. 😔
Standard exhaust is not any quieter than active exhaust in normal mode. I agree that maybe a visit to a muffler shop and explaining the issue to them would be the best bet. 👍🏻
Ford doesn't care if it's reputable and won't verify if its properly installed.
As for the warranty being voided...thats a little strong. But I'd say they won't cover anything pertaining to the induction system once they pop the hood and see that.
Cmon Ford, its bad enough you waited until 2024 to install basic wireless connectivity technology in the Mustang. Now one year layer you dropped something literally every new car is available with? That is absolute hot garbage.
