You can adjust the exhaust mode independently of the drive mode.
As far as the high RPMs, it's based on how much gas you're giving it. A lot of people switch to sport mode and keep mashing the pedal like its still in normal mode, which results in more agressive revs. It also learns your driving...
So you'd rather take your car to the dealer and contemplate selling rather than just changing drives modes?
Some MINOR throttle lag in normal mode is to be expected in certian driving conditions unless you mash it. However, I have not experienced anything significant like you describe. Also, I...
With all due respect, the boss 429 was quite fast by the standards of the day. Calling it a dude is quite niave and silly. Getting off the line with all that power and no traction control in a 4 speed top loader was a skill few people in these times can appreciate.
Besides, I'm not really sure...

One of the best things about the GT350 is its 3 pedals. The way God intended a true track car to be. If you want to run 10s, there are much better options.
You're driving a dual over head cam V8. It likes to rev, and it doesn't start making good power until at least 4k. You aren't going to hurt anything. Besides shifting a manual below 4k is just boring. 😉
Stupid video. Let's drag race 3 manual transmission track cars...and make sure they are staggered on the roll race. 🤦♂️
How about we see them do some hot laps and compare times? You know, actually doing what those cars are built for. 🤷♂️
And yeah, who ever was driving that DH needs to keep...
I bet. This time of year is brutal for us in Arizona. I park in the garage and it's still over a 100 out there. It's no wonder we go through car batteries so quickly. 🥵
