Get a $20 voltmeter and check the battery while the car is off. Easy peasy.
Unfortunatlry there is nothing in the car that will tell you the battery percentage. Only Ford can do that.
Once you charge the battery, you have to drive the car so the monitor can relearn the battery status.

19s are preferred for better handling. That's why they come on the PP and DH cars. What you may be feeling is the K brace that comes on the 20s. I added the K brace and strut brace on mine and it definitely made it feel more planted. 20s look great, but you do compromise a bit on the ride comfort.
