Going into a gear at a lower rpm than you should is the only way to get engine braking (just don’t slip the clutch actually modulate it). Btw: ever try a panic brake using both engine braking and brake pedal simultaneously? (Hint: only attempt when you really absolutely positively expeditiously...

Guess what, you also need to print the instructions. Although, the more i drive with this spring the less i consider the shipping cost of a padded envelope.
A third hand/foot also helps. Being left handed upside-down and above head it is near to impossible. That third hand (pressing the clutch pedal) sure did help lower the frustration. But otherwise, i think she’s a keeper.
