Most tuners can refine out the trans. I do a ton to the 10R80 in my tunes. the biggest help is removing all the skip shifting at part throttle. Really makes the car drive nice.
I believe if you are getting the water on the passenger front floor carpet after rain/wash, then you are going to have the issue. The BCM sits right above that footwell behind the plastic where the water would run down, drip on it and onto the floor. I believe thats the tell tail sign is the...
God this forum is junk.
This is simply the dealer lojack they try to sell you when you buy a new car. If you say no, they dont remove it because its like $10 in plastic and circuit board.
They also use them for lot management before you buy the car. They can see where the car is on the...
Yes the OTA updates if you leave them enabled, can overwrite your tune. You will need to disable OTA updates in the radio and then reflash your tune. Then you're good.
This has nothing to do with oil temp or pressure. Its strictly and only to heat up the cats as quickly as possible. Spark is retarded to get the cats hot quick and the intake cam is also -30 degrees to increase EGR to speed up cat heating. This has not nor ever been about anything but heating...
This is true. And I see the same intake airflow numbers on stock intake/stock paper filter cars as I do with CAI cars I've done. The airflow bottleneck is the stock exhaust. Headers with no cats will max out the stock intake and thats when a CAI will start to help. The TB isnt a bottleneck...
You aren't the first and wont be the last. Never ever use a pressure washer with a detachable nozzle to wash your car. You unfortunately just learned why.
Those are different reference tables. Used in the below chart, 3 is the left chart and 4 is the right one. The others are Not pictured. But those are all in the tune file. When I have a minute I can screen shot them.
The numbers in the charts are percentages, but in decimal of how far the valves open. In the track drag, you can see they’re all set to 1.00. That would be 100% open. In the other chart for sport, you can see many of the cells are set to less than 1.00. That means the valves are partially...
You can change the active exhaust via all those tables to do anything you want. You want to make all modes track full open, then just apply table 4 to the columns for the mode you want. Even can change it per gear.
What the hell do you mean? Thats the reference for the modes for those two tables. Table 3 is the sport table on the left and table 4 is the track table on the right.
Fuck guys, let me just settle this right now. Yes track/drag mode exhaust is open 100% of the time. Pedal demand or RPM, it doesnt matter. Sport mode is not open all the time like track/drag. Time for the proof so we can put this shit to bed.
Here are the two tables and the table references...
