My kit has been on order for a few weeks now with Graveyard. Cant wait to get it in hand and start developing my own tunes for it. Im putting the base kit on my 25 GTPP. Thanks for taking the time and doing it right. And ESS will again be the best selling kit for this gen for sure.
Depending if the compression is lowered, they could make less which is usually the cast with the LS/LT crowd. Now when you add boost, then all bets are off. But in the coyote game, the 10R80 becomes the weak point before the short block does.
Those two screen shots minus the one with the pink numbers that I changed are all stock values for the GT and the DH. They are calculated tq values by the PCM and TCM. Not arbitrary but not what you are thinking with what Ford advertises or what a dyno would measure. These cars are all...
Thats "margin of error" stuff. With the stock tune, these cars are very effected by Engine coolant temp, trans temps, octane and a laundry list of other things. Many of which most tuners eliminate to create a much more consistent power delivery structure.
Remember these cars are built and...
Sure. What you are seeing is desired engine tq by the PCM at the given engine speed v gear. And the lower numbers mean the PCM wants less tq (aka tq management) in the GT at similar engine speeds v gear than the DH. And by raising those values, Im allow the engine to make more indicated...
You know they quote flywheel hp.
Here is the differences between a 2025 Auto DH and a 2025 GT PP.
Maximum Torque Lower Hysteresis
Maximum Torque 1 vs. Gear. vs. Engine Speed
Maximum Torque OP 1 vs. Gear. vs. Engine Speed
Maximum Torque 2 vs. Gear. vs. Engine Speed
Maximum Torque OP 2...
On the contrary, Robert Papini has disassembled both the GT and the DH engines and found no difference in hardware. But we can still pretend right?
Now why wouldnt Ford make any changes to the actual VCT section of the tune if they had put some magically different cams in it? Dont you think...
You keep pushing past the original discussion that you paid more for less tq management and the myth of the DH engine being different is just that, a myth. The mach1 guys of the gen3 cars are in the same boat. But dammit you got a tremec at least lol.
I’m saying ford did that for you but added a little tq management on top. The DH and GT files are virtually identical. Nothing different across the PCM or TCM accept higher tq management values on the GT on the trans side. And manual v auto for both, the manuals TB is allows to open much...
Not true. It might have different cams but we run them to 8k now both GT and DH and any differences in power is all margin of error. There isnt a difference except you paid $20k more for hype.
