A little tricky. they give you a groove to put the silicone in and it has to be a perfect 1/4” bead. Too low and it doesn’t grip, too high and it globs out. I think my bead wasn’t high enough because the spoiler could be lifted a little in the back. I wedged small thin strips of 3M tape...
This may have some context to your question. So my 2 cents…
When I bought my 06 GT, it was used and already lowered with Eibach springs. A year or 2 after I had it, it was up on a lift and the mechanic and I noticed the inside of both front tires were badly worn almost to the point of being...
Probably best to display one of the other sets of gages to not drive your self crazy…lol
If the coolant temps rise, then you can start worrying. Until then, just drive and enjoy the car.
X plan is the Ford promotion to sell cars at the Employee friends and family price discount. I got that on my car. I don’t know if it’s still active as a general discount. It was still going a few months ago on anything on the lot.
I have that one. It's held on with 3M tape and black silicone....just like my front splitter, rear louvers, 1/4 window louvers, and rear blackout panel....not a single bolt on any of them.
The splitter is mild as well as the spoiler, tape will hold them just fine. A more aggressive splitter...
In this car and my 06 GT, I could never drive over 50 with the windows down. The wind buffeting gets unbearable. It blows in and gets trapped behind me and causes horrible noise and back pressure.
DM. I agree...the digital screens surprisingly didn't bother me once I sat in front of them. Good luck on your purchase!
BTW. Besides Alexa, don't forget about "OK Ford" I use that one.
A good oil is supposed to handle up to 500˚, so I would agree with the dealer that anything under 250˚ is fine. Burn off all that vapor…lol.
Coolant temp would be more important to me than seeing oil temps slightly rising and falling with the drive. I drove watching oil temp gages, and it...
Bikeman said it best…I am sure there are ”better” products out there, but I like what I use.
I was literally up to 2:00 am last night researching battery tenders and deciding which is the perfect amperage to use. (I settled on 3 amp). I don’t need to research what is the best cleaner in the...
Seems interior lighting can randomly reset. For me ambient lighting is on the whole time…(I think)
Here are random things to try…good luck!
1) make sure ambient lighting brightness is set to medium or high and not off.
2) set headlights to Auto
ummm..that’s all I got. 🤷♂️
I went down the research rabbit hole when I saw Ryan‘s 4.5 amp charger/Tender. Research showed my 1.25 amp was more of a maintainer, and a 3-5 amp is much more recommended for auto use. seems Ryan has a better maintainer than I do…lol.
We all learned a thing here today…good stuff! 🤓
I’m...
Dusman…yes, sitting locked for 8 hours should reset the battery as well.
Ryan: Wow…4.5 amp! Mine is 1.25 Amps. You condensed 8 hours of charging down to two…lol. I didn’t even know Deltran made a 4.5! Oh well, that’s a time saver.
So you got a software update then? Your instrument cluster...
