  1. I hate this hood…. more aggressive aftermarket options?

A few aftermarket hoods to choose from. https://www.cjponyparts.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=Hood
  2. Break in period?

4 pages of great reading! I’m just over 500 miles. Consciously not going past 4,500 RPM and making sure RPM’s vary during a drive. Though the other day I pulled my shifter all the way back into Manual mode on my auto and didn’t realize it. I looked on in horror as I hit almost 7000 RPM’s in...
  3. $79 Subwoofer Upgrade (Pioneer TS-A250D4 10" Sub) - IT SOUNDS GREAT!

OK gotcha! I don’t remember fully. Damn, you really can’t remember shit when you get older….lol.
  4. $79 Subwoofer Upgrade (Pioneer TS-A250D4 10" Sub) - IT SOUNDS GREAT!

If I remember right, the plastic obstruction was an alignment pin for the speaker bracket. I just snipped it off.
  5. $79 Subwoofer Upgrade (Pioneer TS-A250D4 10" Sub) - IT SOUNDS GREAT!

Every speaker I pulled so far said Made in China. Then again, my wife’s Nautilus is entirely made in China...lol
  6. I adore my new Dark Horse

it’s adorable! (You started it…lol). seriously…just so damn cool looking! Congrats!
  7. Automatic Shift Knobs

Lol…..Ford is VERY proud of every one of their performance parts And accessories. Yeah, I noticed they only make knobs for manuals. I’m excited to get my Billetworkz knobs and adapter, much more for the lock collar to prevent me from making another bonehead mistake and take off in manual mode...
  8. $79 Subwoofer Upgrade (Pioneer TS-A250D4 10" Sub) - IT SOUNDS GREAT!

Steveo…Glad you had a great result! Your impression of the stock speaker was dead-on. Not something you’d expect from a $1,000 upgrade system. B&O is just a name slapped on cheap chinese speakers. But once you have changed that center speaker AND the sub, you’ll notice enough of an...
  9. Automatic Shift Knobs

Manuals don’t need the auto adapter with lock-out collar. You get more options with manual knobs too. Ford even makes a cool Perf. Knob. From what I understand, for manuals, a weighted knob feels a lot better and is preferred by many.
  10. What did you do to your S650 Mustang today?? šŸ™‹šŸ»‍ā™‚ļø

Lol Danish. I hear ya. I thought I was crazy doing so many decorative mods to a brand new car, but stuff like adding louvers won’t void my warranty. :cwl: 😲
  11. Automatic Shift Knobs

Thanks Sofa King! I’ll have to look at the install video with my eyes open next time…lol. Or at least look at only Billetworkz install videos. I shouldn’t have assumed all brands assembled the same way.
  12. Swapping out stock auto shift knob.

Oh great! Thanks! I didn’t know they used set screws vs. threading. I ordered this morning and they already shipped!
  13. Automatic Shift Knobs

Nice work on modifying the knob! BTW: a thought lining up a knob with graphics….I got a knob with the GT logo on it. I saw an install video where to line up the logo to be level, the instruction was to just gob a bunch of blue Locktite on the threads and let the knob sit on it until it sets...
  14. Swapping out stock auto shift knob.

BTW: a thought lining up a knob with graphics….I got a knob with the GT logo on it. I saw an install video where the instruction was to just gob a bunch of blue Locktite on the threads and let the knob sit on it until it sets. I thought maybe a better solution is to shim the top of the threads...
  15. What did you do to your S650 Mustang today?? šŸ™‹šŸ»‍ā™‚ļø

That’s still a lot! FORscan sounds very useful. Is there any downsides to using FORscan??
  16. Automatic Shift Knobs

The Fusion knob is more expensive because it’s wrapped in leather or alcantra and is weighted. be aware that the shape of it is not just a sphere…it has more of a bottom taper to it. This makes it sit what looks like a good 1ā€ higher than a simple screw on sphere. The shape of it also makes...
  17. Swapping out stock auto shift knob.

I had a pull up collar on a custom shifter I put in my Prowler. It just feels more natural pulling up on the collar than knuckling it down. But that said, after accidentally pulling back into manual mode yesterday and revving to 6500 RPM in first gear while still in break-in mode, I need...
