I know you said you aren't interested in a pickup. But a Maverick hybrid would be an excellent choice for most of these categories. It's based on the focus chassis, so it's far more composed, and nimble than something like an f-150. It starts at around 20k brand new. The xlt trim out the door...
I can still recall when the new tarus came out back in 2010/11. Admittedly, the one next to us looked quite cool, with a blacked out appearance. But the girl next to me on the bus literally said, I think that's a Maserati. I facepalmed thru my skull.
It really is hilarious.
Agreed, the best way I could describe it is the surfacing, especially on the side, just seems more fluid and dynamic. Haven't seen it in person, but it seems like the s650 body side is very muscular. The s550 uses hard lines on the side, whereas the s650 focuses more in...
Ford:Makes a good looking car
People stuck in the past: But it doesn't look like the mustangs from the past!
Ford:Makes retro inspired designs
These same people: Ford is so stuck in the past and unoriginal!
Oh for sure. The gt has a great looking front end. The DH is a little too much imo. The...
Digging the shape, the color, the contrast. But those quad stripes are gonna be a no from me dog. If they wanted to do unique looking stripes, they should have kept the body color section, but just had two black stripes wrapping around it. Rather than going with 4 which is just too much.
Love that first and last pic. The issue with a lot of the pics is they make the car look washed out. It makes the side seem bland, and kinda flabby. But that photo does an excellent job showing just how muscular and strongly sculpted the sides really are.
I just don't see the point of putting a massive truck engine that's presumably quite heavy in a sports car. Especially if said variant of the sports car was meant to offer better handling than lower trim models. Putting a ton of extra weight right over the front wheels isn't a good idea. This...
I will say this, I'm quite surprised that the DH is "only" making 500 hp with all the additional upgrades. With them switching to some gt500 components, I was expecting 530-550.
The way I see it, it's a trade off. The gt350 and 350r were amazing drivers cars. But from what I've read, the voodoo isn't exactly the poster child for reliability. Even stock, they were popping off left and right.
One of the worst things a drivers car can be is unreliable. Makes it hard to...
Seems like the gt500 will be the choice if you plan on doing a lot of racing. Dark Horse appears to be more balanced, and focused on the experience with the manual and everything. In other words, do you want the best lap time or the most engaging experience? That will be the deciding factor.
We can agree to disagree. My issue with the mkz is it was one of those designs where the front and back never flowed well together. More specific, the front took on this softer, more refined form, and the back was sharper and more agressive. The zephyr is consistent all the way around.
