  1. Jim Farley Teases Mustang GT3 Roaring at Sebring - "Should We Make a Road Version?"

their current plan is to run the fuel in their Porsche SuperCup with the long term plan of being able to ramp production to allow for use in public vehicles at competitive prices, granted this alone wont save the ICE, at most it will offset people who live in areas where EV's arent entirely...
  2. NYIAS: Dark Horse Mustang (Blue Ember) & Engine Bay FIRST Look + 2024 Mustang GT Convertible

like i said, its the lighting notice how the bumper trim on the white one is the same black as the horse logo on its side? now take a look at the bumper trim for the one under the stage lighting: you take that car out of the stage lighting and into the street and all of that "silver" is going...
  3. NYIAS: Dark Horse Mustang (Blue Ember) & Engine Bay FIRST Look + 2024 Mustang GT Convertible

im like 90% sure it only looks silver because of how bright the stage lighting is on it (just look at the black bumper trim), itll probably look more black under natural lighting.
  4. Gas Guzzle Tax

two things 1: the tax only applies to new vehicles sold in the US, so people buying clapped out shitboxes that barely make 15 mpg dont have to pay it 2: The U.S., as it so loves doing, passed the gas guzzler tax back in the 70's and hasn't changed it since. Trucks and SUV's werent very popular...
  5. Gas Guzzle Tax

oh its been hitting the mustang family almost every year, its just this is the first time a non-shelby model has been smacked with it.
  6. Gas Guzzle Tax

why are you surprised by the gas guzzler tax? its not something new. its been around since the 90's
  7. What are you upgrading from?

I'd personally say just get the summers and invest in some wheels and winter tires that you can swap on and off. Its what i did when i lived in New Hampshire over the past 4 years with my 2010. otherwise a very understandable reason to swap from a 'vette.
  8. Media Gets First-Rides of Dark Horse 2024 Mustang at NYIAS Tomorrow

the gurney flap is part of the handling pack, otherwise its just the wing
  9. Jim Farley Teases Mustang GT3 Roaring at Sebring - "Should We Make a Road Version?"

Dodge effectively proved that the horsepower wars are over. Just look at the new horsepower king the Demon 170, sure its got 1024 horsepower (on 170 proof E85 if you were wondering where the 170 came from) and is unquestionably a monster of a car, its also barely street legal and most of the...
  10. CTS-V to Mustang GT

glad to see you hopped off daddy GM's lap long enough to completely miss that i made a separation between the pp suspension and good handling suspension, but you keep going there buddy. Also no shit Magneride is going to be better on GM vehicles it was their technology to begin with. theyve had...
  11. CTS-V to Mustang GT

please take more than 5 seconds to think before replying, i said "amazing handling suspension" i did NOT say "pp suspension". you can call it rubbish, it just makes you wrong, just try and take stiff track spec suspension thats designed to maximize handling characteristics of the car on a bumpy...
  12. CTS-V to Mustang GT

yeah if you want to keep it simple thats a good route. ultimately THE BEST way to improve your vehicles handling is a wider, higher quality tire. End of the day, theyre the cars only point of contact with the ground, PP gives you a decent set with wider wheels. Exhaust wise, its an American 5.0L...
  13. CTS-V to Mustang GT

i just want to know where they're getting their brakes for $1200 when a decent set of Wilwood/Baer/Brembo 6 pistons are about 4-5k in parts alone
  14. RTR Mustang S650 Officially Revealed and Returning to Formula Drift Competition!

i like how they shrunk the upper grille to turn that lower black bar into a full wrap around. also seeing the green LEDs with the Spec 5 FD and the White LEDs in the drawings makes me think they're going to be RGB lights.
  15. RTR Mustang S650 Officially Revealed and Returning to Formula Drift Competition!

also a little bit from the announcement on the RTR website, including a new look and clarification that some of the parts seen on the Spec 5 FD are parts that will be available on the 2024 Mustang
  16. Jim Farley Teases Mustang GT3 Roaring at Sebring - "Should We Make a Road Version?"

yeah the 5.0 is a very solid engine for what Ford wants from it, its a decent V8 making plenty of power while keeping costs as low as possible. Its got countless upgrades to make it put out as much or more power than a hellcat without spending too much comparatively. as for the 5.4 and the GT3...
  17. Buyers Remorse on Dark Horse | Car now Scheduled for 22May2023 Built

i mean as much as people complain about MSRP for the S650 they're being priced right in line with inflation compared to the S550 so its understandable that a 23MY mach with some extras will be on par or a little more than a DH.
  18. Jim Farley Teases Mustang GT3 Roaring at Sebring - "Should We Make a Road Version?"

i can only assume they decided to stick with the 5.0 because the mixture of efficiency standards and the looming hybridization/electrification of the entire industry probably just made it not worth it to redesign the entire engine compartment to fit the, admittedly small difference, larger engine.
  19. Hands-on reviews: digital gauge cluster, display screens, SYNC 4 -- which media are calling impressive

thats the most okay boomer thing ive read so far this year, thanks for giving me a good start to April.
  20. What are you upgrading from?
