@YONGSEOK KIM ..... AWESOME pictures. Congratulations on your beautiful Mustang. The track looks amazing. Wishing you great rides in your Mustang and safe travels!
@LouG ..... agree with all you said. I have been using AFE dry. They are awesome. There is also another good dry filter but the name escapes me at the moment.
@BlueWayOut and other forum members.....If you do decide to replace the black plastic oem sill plates that come with the 2026 GT (even 401A high package premium) be careful to note the location of the metal clips on the plastic trim and the groove on the weather stripping. If not careful it is...
@BlueWayOut ..... I had planned to get some oem lighted sill plates like I had on my 2024 GT. Neither my dealer nor I can find any. I was told they are out of production (I was told that Ford no longer has a supplier for them) and that some dealer(s) may have old stock sitting around but that's...
@Binchicken1979 ..... good on you mate. Yes, oem filters are shitty compared to quality aftermarket DRY air filters. I particularly like DRY air filters because we found (family of race engine builders) oiled filters were just dirt magnets. You can gently wash dry air filters with simple green...
@BrownsReds ..... coming but in the meantime - as I noted - if you google Mustang Ford Performance Sill Plates - you will see exactly what I got. Hope to drop a pic in 24 hrs or so.
Like many others I was disappointed that Ford did not include lighted sill plates (even as an option) for my 2026 GT (I had them on my 2024 GT). I tried to order them through my local dealer and online. No joy. A pair were for sale on eBay but I was not interested. I called a big supplier and...
@fordmustangnerd ...... fingers crossed that recent improvements in the economy benefit you and that you get consistent work. These days anyone wanting to work (IMO) versus looking for a hand-out deserves the best! Good luck!
I'll agree with what @AZ_Ryan says about dealers and raise him. Most people have no idea how most brands of dealerships work. For example my friend used to own a big GM dealership. His father started it in the late 40's. He constantly up-graded the facility. That said, at one point GM made him...
@RJW ..... while I have not "haggled" for my Mustangs the prices can vary dramatically. I bought a 2024 Mustang Premium GT Convertible. My sister had seen it on a car lot about a 5 hour drive from my house. The dealer offered a $2000.00 Ford non stackable discount AND discounted the options...
@rdgdawg ..... yes the hoods on all three of my Mustangs flexed - starting at 50 mph. Be careful when adjusting the hood stops as you can cause more harm than good if not careful.
@RJW there are three 'UGE things you get at a big dealership: 1. If buying new they alwaya have a better allocation from Ford - which is critical when trying to order a new Mustang. 2. They have always have more price flexibility (unless a small dealer is in trouble financially) 3. Big...
Up-Date: having had the Corsa clear top air box covers on for a few weeks has shown me an added benefit - I can easily see when dust/pollen is building-up inside the air boxes and therefore in the AFE filters. It takes me about 15 minutes to open both covers and vacuum them and the filters. just...
@AZ_Ryan et. al. ....... what he said - my dealer is still trying to get me the sills. Aparently there is a dispute occurring and delaying even when ( he wisely) requested the sills as a part replacement. Perfect - now parts are a problem.
