  1. PP splitter on a non-PP Premium GT?

No, I just used the base part of 1 of the original push-pins on each side. I wasn't able to jam the top "pin" part of the push-pins in once the base was fitted into position. But it's been totally secure.
  2. Almost no love for the Ecoboost

Ecoboost is a great value for someone who wants a daily driver to get around town, or someone who isn't an "enthusiast" and just wants the style of an American coupe. I cross-shopped my prior '24 Ecoboost against a '25 Camry, because that was its intended purpose: an econobox daily for getting...
  3. Brand new car- something leaking!

Responded to you on reddit: (engine) oil from the oil cooler in front of the wheelwell.
  4. 2026 Mustang Order & Pricing Guides [Updated]

I believe you would get the car with standard parts and you can have the dealer install those FP parts as a separate transaction, which would entail the cost of the parts themselves + labor.
  5. GREAT DEALS ON 2026 MUSTANGS @ GRANGER MOTORS- 4% BELOW INVOICE!!

Do you guys ship the vehicle for customers who are not able to pick-up in Iowa, and if so, approximately how much might that cost (say to California)?
  6. Oil filter is different

IMO you definitely don't need an oil filter wrench. You can easily spin off/on these filters by hand to an appropriate torque.
  7. We’ve owned 3 GT’s now, and really TRIED to go with the EcoBoost on the last one….

You may not be missing much, as these S650s feel much more buttoned down (neutered!) than S550's. The computers automatically brake specific wheels if you go into a corner too hot. Ford would rather you get brake wear rather than tire wear (at least in turns). I'm sure they can still do...
  8. 0% interest (48 months) and Leasing Incentives announced for Mustang.

If this is all they're willing to discount to clear out 25's, I take it the 26's won't see much discount at all? IMO even with employee pricing a base GT is already too pricy. Can't see many people buying at full MSRP without discount. Ford has been supporting Mustang sales the past 2 years...
  9. Headlights tremble/shake/vibrate when hitting small bumps

No, ended up trading in the car because it had lots of defects and issues. You may be able to tighten it down yourself. Depending on how handy you are, you probably have to remove the front bumper (good tutorial on Youtube from LMR)
  10. Headlights tremble/shake/vibrate when hitting small bumps

Might need to be tightened down or something. My '24 Ecoboost had 1 headlight that would vibrate after being started up. I would see the light vibrating on my garage as I pulled out. With the quality Ford produces I'm seriously wondering if China makes better cars these days.
  11. S650 aftermarket exhaust borla vs. corsa ?

For some reason everyone recommends X/H-pipe, but IMO if you want deeper sound without rasp, I recommend NOT messing with the resonator aka midpipe (X-pipe, H-pipe, Borla Crossfire--these all replace the stock resonator). Instead, I recommend just modifying the muffler portion aka axle-back. I...
  12. 2024 Mustang FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet (by Livinitup)

I got the 'pink' lights after changing to Dark Horse welcome lighting. I don't think Premium welcome lighting had the pink effect. This happened on 2 base models ('24 Ecoboost, '25 GT) that had no welcome lighting by default. Partially-lit amber + partially-lit white = looks pink
  13. Service/Repair Manual?

Who creates these service manuals? Are they essentially all Ford diagrams/info being repackaged and resold? Curious about the reliability of things like torque specs and all that if it isn't coming from Ford itself. But then if it's coming from Ford itself, why/how does Ford allow 3rd-party...
  14. Oil filter is different

Your pic shows FL-2121 not FL-2127. I have some leftover 2127's from my old '24 Ecoboost and they prly will work fine on my new GT, but want to be extra careful to avoid Ford cancelling my warranty should an issue occur.
  15. Someone hit my fender - replace with pre-painted part?

Someone lightly clipped my passenger front, hitting the passenger fender and some contact with passenger side of the bumper. Bumper may be able to be polished out. I want to be as minimally invasive as possible and haven't had good experiences with body shops doing proper work in the past. So...
  16. What's your highest lateral acceleration recorded on the accelerometer?

I don't fully trust it because I once saw like 1.3-1.5 something driving slowly to get groceries in my town. In a base Ecoboost. Not even possible (without crashing the car).
  17. Alloy Gators Anyone ?

I like how Ford sets up their wheels/tires so that there is a significant "lip" of tire extending out further past the rim. Comes in handy in close calls if you just barely touch a curb or something. I can't speak for AlloyGators (I think they look bad and will get messed up when you inevitably...
  18. Does anyone else here feel like the A10 lugs a bit on inclines?

On my '24 Ecoboost the A10 had a dangerous level of lugging up inclines. I live on the highest hill in my county so I have to go up inclines daily. It would consistently not downshift as I gradually applied more gas until like 90% throttle, then suddenly react. Pretty sure that was a...
  19. Can I quiet the exhaust

Try to find pool noodles the right size for your exhaust tips (Walmart has some that are 2" diameter, Dollar Tree has ones that are 2.5" diameter). If you set up your contraption properly (back into your garage, attach the pool noodles to a weighted object that you place behind the car and...
