I use an Aussie product called CT18. I spray it on wheels and bug splat, leave it a few minutes and waterblast off very gently.Then I wash as per normal.

Ceramic coating and PPF on vulnerable areas worked out cost effective for me. About $NZ2200. I got over washing, waxing buffing, etc, etc, now it's just wash and dry.
