  1. State's highway patrol adds 2024 Ford Mustangs to fleet

I had immunity. Then, when I quit, I bought a radar detector
  2. Valentine One Radar Detectors

Hey Frogdog, someone in the hardwire a detector thread just ordered a Gen 2.
  3. Rear spring Isolator

Someone stuffed up. Springs should be installed symetrically. Perhaps when they fix it they'll double check those insulators
  4. State's highway patrol adds 2024 Ford Mustangs to fleet

The problem with R/T's is that it's just more cops joining the chase. You still have to stop the buggers. We didn't have stop sticks either.
  5. Gross rotors (rust)!

Yep we had those too. Police gave up most of the bikes due to high maintanance costs. Urban enforcement has suffered badly
  6. FORD: One of the worst

I'm not a Honda fan, they seem to be like Apple and Sony, in that they do things their way even when it makes no sense. Like cam chain issues on 90's and early 20's bikes. Regulator problems that went on for years. They are quite well built though. And my 1989 Prelude is the only new car I've...
  7. Valentine One Radar Detectors

I can only tell you what their rep on Discord said. Message me with some type of contact and I will pass it onto V1.
  8. Rear spring Isolator

They look like progressives. But I've never seen coils as close as that.
  9. Anyone else struggled deciding between EcoBoost and GT for daily driver?

I'm still astonished that the Mustang can do 30mpg highway (Imperial) without trying to save gas. And $3.15 for 3.8litres of gas is just rubbing it in :) Try $2.90 per litre. I still don't care though. I knew what I was buying, it pisses off the eco wowsers which is just a plus.
  10. State's highway patrol adds 2024 Ford Mustangs to fleet

I don't know the stats for GSP or any US PD. But our Traffic Unit did more kms, more high speed chases with a much lower crash rate than our Police had, let alone the general public. The reason being training, Pursuit training 2 days every week for 3 months on road bikes, dirt bikes, cars, track...
  11. Anyone else struggled deciding between EcoBoost and GT for daily driver?

Yeah, turbos are efficient, and they have huge low down and mid range torque for the size of engine, but it's hard to beat the feel of a powerful N/A engine.
  12. Thinking of taking a trip across country

My mind boggles at those distances. Our entire country is 2000km top to toe, 29 hours plus 3 hours on the ferry in the middle. Something I carry in my cars is a bike tyre repair kit with 3 of the larger CO2 bottles for the inflator. It's more reliable than sealant and a pump. I also have an...
  13. Introductions & Welcome Thread đź‘‹

Similar here. Lot's of Germans, status thing I guess. But girls don't smile at guys in SUV's.
  14. Typewriter Tick/ BBQ tick fact compilation?

No tick here, just some wine.....whine. I don't mind it, hasn't got worse. The auto has got better, in fact.
  15. Cool custom 3d printed cubby tray insert!

Any chance of sharing the file in .stl? I got a printer for Xmas and I'm playing with it trying to climb the learning curve with ropes and pitons.
  16. Introductions & Welcome Thread đź‘‹

At least you won't be seeing a Mustang at every set of lights.
  17. Introductions & Welcome Thread đź‘‹

No mate. bloody Kiwi with a big dash of Italian I am.
  18. Anyone else struggled deciding between EcoBoost and GT for daily driver?

You've got 6 years on us. My wife has loved Mustangs since she did a road trip to the south of England when she lived there. There was no hesitation when I asked her "how would you like a new Mustang":like:
  19. Introductions & Welcome Thread đź‘‹

We get US spec. Woo bloody Hoo:party:
  20. Power for vent mounted boost gauge

I prefer to take power from an unused fuse holder if possible. Failing that, a fuse piggyback from a minor circuit.
