Right? Back in my day, the Mustang was actually a pony! 0-to-60? More like zero to giddy-up pardner, yee-haw! Coyotes, Voodoos, and Predators? Naw son, we talking 100% ALL FROM THE HORSE REAL AND GENUINE HORSEPOWER here!
Side question...in America, to what extent is it illegal to tint the side marker light? (Ideally I'd make it look European/Asian [uncolored or very feint orange if needs be].)
Maybe it's just me, but I'd be absolutely ecstatic if (when?) they release a hybrid V8 Mustang with at-minimum current-model EcoBoost fuel economy.
Going back to the EV Mustang that isn't the Mach-E, if they can make an exhaust sound that isn't a vacuum cleaner or Forza Horizon 4 levels of...
AWD/hybrid options. (Ford Authority is the only source saying this is confirmed off the table for S650.)
Sedan/sportback body style. This one is more of a personal wish of mine. I've only heard about this being a possibility once and that was a few years ago. (At this point I'm more curious...
The more extreme angle makes me think "New Edge" style taillights. I'd wonder if that means they'll stick with the black decklid (not sure if that's the correct name for that section of the car) or if they'll make that part match the exterior color this time around. I'm also curious if the...
The hood bulge is definitely more prevalent than on the current-gen facelift models. Going back to something similar to the pre-facelift S550s, it looks like. Will the S650 convince me that edges are more appealing than curves? Only time will tell...
Missed opportunity to call it the "My Little Pony" package. Oh well, guess I'll have to wait another time to swap out the pony emblems for Fluttershy...😏
In other news BoostRabbitGT is confirmed crazy, and water is indeed wet.
My main takeaway from this article is that I'd welcome larger rear quarter mirrors in exchange for less thick C-pillars. (Not that they're problematic in the current gen whatsoever. I just think from a functionality standpoint it would further strengthen the Mustangs strength of visibility out...
If they made a Mustang with that particular shade of green (Eruption doesn't count with its yellow flake), I'd forego getting my next Mustang in [metallic] white and get this instead!
This thread is making me rollercoaster between the highs and lows of design angles and perspectives. Chazcron's...
I think a proper coupe would be a nice alternative to the fastback, although I doubt we'd actually get it.
That said, part of me wonders if we'd get something similar to the LT1 trim for the Camaro. Say, if the "proper" GT gets the larger upper and lower grills, then this theoretical trim would...
I'm excited for the reveal. I just hope they directly reveal the timeline for AWD/hybrid powertrains if they're not available right at launch, or if they'll even exist for this generation at all.
(Or if they plan to reveal another vehicle as a Mustang...the MUSTANG MICROPONY! A truly lukewarm...
I like the white colored renders the best. Personally I'm hoping for either Eruption or Gotta Have It Green to return, or at the very least a dark green that fits between Tropic/Amazon and Dark Highland.
