1. Lower cost of entry. 2. No superhero mask grille (cleaner looking front end) 3. More comfortable ride. 4. Easier to daily drive in the city or highway. 5. Not as tempting to steal...? Those are my guesses without watching the video.

It's scary how easy it is to fool people with AI. My parents were excitedly showing me videos of a "Tesla Model 2" and a sub-$20K Toyota coming in the future, and it took me less than a second to know they were AI generated.

When AI can make a nice looking Mustang with a naturally aspirated [hybrid?] V8 that gets 60mpg city/highway and can be bought as a fastback, hardtop/convertible, or sedan/sportback, please get back to me. 🤣

Are the ZR1X and GTD considered direct competitors? Because if so, at first glance I don't see GTD winning this comparison by any metric.

It would need to cost noticeably less than a Mustang (GT) and have massively improved visibility all around for me to pay attention. But then maybe people would say "Ugh it looks too much like a Mustang!"

I'd consider the non-PP white wheels on a base GT if they were available outside of the FX package like the white taillights.

Would it be a hot take to say that in all my experience test driving GTs, I find it easier to drive around the city than my EcoBoost?

Now you got me wondering how the S650 would look like if the grille nostrils and surround were body color matched or a mid/dark steel or gunmetal color instead of just gloss black...

Good to know. I like my EcoBoost, but hope someday I can get into a GT. The '90s 300ZX was my favorite car in my childhood and it's still my favorite Z to this day!

I forgot to ask how the Z feels driving in non-spirited applications. How does it feel on regular, speed-limit-abiding city roads?

I'd like to test drive one, but it feels like the GR Corolla in that a salesperson basically wants a guarantee that you're going to buy the vehicle before they let you test drive it (at least from my experience).

Somehow that's still better than the comment sections at Motor1 and Ford Authority, in my opinion.

I think on an Oxford White car, it would look like an amazing boulevard grand touring cruiser. Now if only I could get/order those white five spoke rims and badges on a base GT alongside the white taillights...
