S550 production was winding up this time last year so obviously down. Everybody knew the S650 was coming, some had even placed orders. S650 is not a hit? - tell all the owners! Interior redo - it's just had one!

Overseas production is just about to start which will restrict US market production. I suspect building up an inventory is part of this. My RHD car is being built in the first week of April together with the first batch of cars for Europe. This will take up a big chunk of production capacity.

Yes There are some preconfigured RHD cars available to reserve in the UK that are being made in the first week of April. This includes dealer demo cars. If the spec you want is not available then a factory order will be accepted in May / June for August / September delivery. S650's will be...

I'm not sure what is happening outside the UK. We are RHD so our batch of cars may not be the same as yours.

A true factory order (coming later in the summer) is where you choose your spec and order it. The first cars were configured by Ford and so if it happens to match what you want then bingo! If not you will have to wait. The dealer demo cars are included in these first builds as well.
