  1. S650 UK orders

Build date will be September surely?
  2. Dark Horse with auto start/stop

Oh dear. Big Brother really doesn't care what you do, and certainly isn't 'monitoring YOU! There is nothing mandatory about Ford Pass, but the Mustang is a connected vehicle which can be very useful.
  3. Dark Horse with auto start/stop

It doesn't, in the sense that the starter and battery are uprated for the job. More modern installations have an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) which completely removes any issues and reduces the number of components.
  4. Dark Horse with auto start/stop

It's about 0.6l/cylinder/hour apparently. My experience is similar to that in long queues such as toll booths, ferry terminals etc
  5. Dark Horse with auto start/stop

Oh here we go - somebody else who doesn't like being told what to do, but is happy to dish out their own opinions! Crack on with your war  No stop start system I have ever driven with (lots) has ever behaved the way you say, but you keep on with your rhetoric
  6. Dark Horse with auto start/stop

My sons similarly powered 911 (992) manages 37mpg on a motorway trip - quite amazing improvements, all driven by mandates. It also has stop/start. I've never understood the US hatred of stop/start. It is nothing like as hated elsewhere in the world, and good systems like the one fitted to Ford...
  7. Dark Horse with auto start/stop

A 5.0 V8 burns about 4 litres of fuel an hour when idling. So if you spend a lot of time in traffic queues then yes it can save you fuel, plus emissions in the locality. If you don't sit in traffic then it will never activate obviously, so will save nothing. It can be quite shocking when you...
  8. MY25 Export Market Price Lists and Order Banks

I wouldn't wait too long, who knows how long the Mustang will be available in the UK and at best it will be in very small numbers.
  9. B&O System is garbage

That is the source - especially radio where the signal is flattened. Nothing to do with the car
  10. MY25 Export Market Price Lists and Order Banks

You need to try and find an unallocated MY24 car if you really want a Mustang. There are a few out there that will be built in September for delivery in November. Other than that it will be a MY25 car, but it will be at least a couple of months before the configurator updates in the UK as the...
  11. B&O System is garbage

$90 sub will be more than almost any OEM speaker value in any car. Click on ignore if you don't want to read my comments
  12. B&O System is garbage

Not sure why you would drive at 70mph in a modern car with the windows down? So much white noise from the tyres would make any sort of sound system pointless. You would need a lot of volume to overcome that, ear damaging levels of volume. Window open at 70mph will be 90dB ish, add music above...
  13. B&O System is garbage

Yet another pointless thread! The B&O system is just fine (certainly not garbage) and with a sub change it is clear and controlled. Different sources impact the quality (radio will always be the worst because of compression) If you don't like it then turn it off (which the OP seems to want to...
  14. S650 UK orders

Atlantic Sail leaves on the 27th July to arrive in Liverpool on 7th August - I reckon my car will be on that. Atlantic Sun leaves today so I don't think my car is on that.
  15. S650 UK orders

Including when it sinks just off Liverpool with the loss of all cargo onboard
  16. S650 UK orders

Live chat were pretty adamant that until the vessel is showing on their system it isn't loaded, so I don't think my car is onboard yet, but my ETA is the week after you anyway. I think most likely your car arrived at the Ford storage area at Newark on the 8th, then left that on the 18th to go...
  17. S650 UK orders

My dealer knew exactly how the orders were being dealt with (including the pre-configured cars) on 1st February. They didn't take any orders until they were officially possible and I got the Vista printout of my order on the day. They then learned about the fact that not all orders were the same...
  18. S650 UK orders

To be fair the live chat is Ford UK and they do seem to know exactly what is going on. The dealers however are just mushroom workers as they only have Vista to help them which doesn't really work for them. They are used to what happens with cars made in Europe including the timescales etc and...
  19. S650 UK orders

I assume Ford have a storage facility at Newark and this is what 'exited Newark' and your 'Compound out' mean. As in it has left the Ford storage facility at Newark and is now heading for the actual loading at the port. I don't think Vista is reliable in the transit phase (I don't think it is...
  20. S650 UK orders

I have had more info on my order now through somebody helpful at Ford UK via live chat. My car is now showing as 'exited Newark' but without any ship details as yet. Live chat suggested that means the car is likely in the process of being loaded and if I check back in a day or two it will have...
