That's about all I know for turning them on and off. They only work in D and above a certain MPH. Do the indicators flash twice when turning them on or off? Or a warning lamp when off? Any error messages when on?
Not scared... Some of us like a clean car... and driving in the winter is the opposite of that... That said, although my S650 stays in the garage in bad weather, the S550 has X-ice tires on it...
BTW that is an S550... are you lost?
I am on well water that leaves white spots too. I don't wash my cars at home... I take 'em to work or (no touch) carwash. I do occasionally wash wheels at home and use a leaf blower to dry them with pretty good results.
Today I finally added the intercooler and charge pipes... the front end was a bit harder than I remember... of course it has been a few years since the S550. I think cj ponyparts has a good video of the front end removal IIRC... though S550, it is all basically the same. The bottom tray doesn't...
The tune is not done from the dash screen... it is done with the procal 4 device (after loading it from computer). No changes to the screens in the car.
Darkhorse I believe was not available with a block heater... the GT could be ordered with one as an option (unless PP). Dealer may be able to fit that one ( HL3Z6A051A ) to the car... unless the DH or PP is using the spot where it plugs in.
@Junkyard Dog, if you want to know the capabilities of the hellion kit, perhaps contacting the manufacturer will give you more accurate information than random posts/videos on the internet.
I think that the only reason the DH has more HP than a GT is that ford neutered the GT at high RPM... take that out and you get DH HP... won't work on the DH, as it is already opened up on the top end.
